I don't know if I should dish out $65 for the Blu Ray, I've been hesitating for the longest time, maybe I need someone to buy it first and tell me how it is before I buy it. $10 dollar difference from DVD but I'm just cheap like that.

somemore , Taiwan press's faster & better in quality imo unlike for Hong Kong where it's a bit slower

I'm getting scared, my dad just put like a down payment for the OS DVD, but the lady doesn't even know if you can preorder it or not!!!! And all the online websites are up for preordering, but they don't come with a poster :bawl

well from what I know , you will get an OBI for the DVD , Taiwan press wise . You wouldn't really do so for the HK press unless absolutely necessary .

If you ask people on AHS to compare their Taiwan & Hong Kong presses pertaining to ayumi's latest PCDL countdown DVD , it's quite obvious that avex Taiwan do not skim on the packaging's cover .

The HK press was really dull & lifeless & not shiny at all

Buy the OS version, I am. It should still be compatible because HK, Japan and North America are on the same region code I believe.

People usually say they like the HK press better just because it have a colorful OBI...I don't really see the point in having a small strip of paper that's colorful...ah I just prefer the TW press because I feel it's easier to get...

If the store don't take a preorder for the DVD, I'll try to get someone in Taipei to order it for me

So even just the OS DVD is limited...

I guess it boils down to preferences at the end of the day . While you get better quality for the Taiwan press , the centre of the OBI might be quite ugly for some ie. blue & white colour background & wordings

for me it doesn't matter so much as I know what I'm getting's a top notch item from avex Taiwan

unlike silly Warner Music S'pore which FAIL in this aspect :innocent

Yeah, only Japan will have blu-ray, but in Taiwan, they will import some copies....are they doing the same in HK?

Edit: There's an OBI with everything, even DVDs, so the OBI is super big, because it also covers the back with the tracklist + info in Chinese

yup you will get an OBI for the Taiwan press DVD . I know because I buy taiwan presses of Johnny's DVDs though my friend Cliff so yeah

& to me , a taiwan press's not necessarily more expensive than a HK press . I guess because nowadays when comes to OS presses in that I buy things though my Taiwanese friend Cliff , that's why I said so :laugh

Yes it's possible to rip a blu-ray in avi ^^ When in Blu-Ray size is 24GB for example, in .avi it will be 7GB, something like that.

i never watched anything in blu-ray, the quality is just amazing! and i think it'll be even better to watch the concert in blu-ray since there's so many details

Maybe but quality won't be in it, 2GB it's too low for a Blu-Ray rip, when you see that sometimes DVDRip are 1,5GB...
Of course I'm not a rip master, but a Blu-Ray iso is much much bigger than a DVD iso, so I think it's not possible ^^
(I even saw some Blu-Ray iso which were like 45GB in size o_O)
