And how're the sales for each release for each one of them? ;) Looks like some exclusivity is doin the trick these days and I think ayu's catching up on that as well slowing down her releases. No need to exhaust oneself when fewer releases sell just as much in total. |

I want to go to a hip hop course and want to learn namie dances
I would like to know which songs have dances and where I can see the dance like in PVs or Tours |
Her release schedule doesn't really bother me. It would be nice to get more things from her. I feel the amount of time she takes is because she wants to release something she feels proud of and wants to make sure it's of good quality instead of just throwing something together just cause she can.
Another reason why it doesn't bother me much is that at least she releases a single to appease us. Some groups I listen to don't even bother to give us a single. We get a full album every 3-6 years. Basically whenever they feel like it. An album a year? J-pop fandom sure is spoiled. |

I just think imo that it's not the sales that make the album, it's the album itself, sales are just an addition to what it can be. Your opinion you think PLAY is forgettable, myself on the other hand I think it's part of what brought her back to the top, if PLAY hadn't been released I doubt she'd even be where she is right now as far as popularity goes. Music wise she's always been a dime to me, she's good at what she does. I find Namie somewhat underrated when it comes to people looking at her career.

In that case - Hide & Seek, Rock Steady, WHAT A FEELING, Put 'em up, So Crazy, Gimme More, DANCE TRACKS vol.1, Funky Town, Can't Sleep, Can't Eat, I'm Sick etc... Well, most of her songs are for dancing. |

I've always wished Namie would release dance only versions of some of her videos. D= Especially Please Smile Again. I've always wanted to see that version uninterrupted.

^ If you want to see the dance of Please Smile Again, watch the tv performances. You get a pretty good sense of the dance from those and it is great!
