It's really messy and it reads CDE instead of CDL. But I love it though. The Gothic font reminds me of G!*LOVE* I hope they could notice the E and change it a bit.

Okay, I'm starting to like it again! XD But I still have a big problem with the design. Not the colour (I prefer black over rainbow, thank you :\), not the font (love that part of it, actually--so unique and different for Ayu), just that hideous design. -_-'

Well, the purpose of a logo is to be recoginazible (talking as a graphic designer :P, what I will be on 2 months when I finish college xD), but still, it also fails on that...

The letters looked a bit complicated but creative though.

I think if they did it in colour, it would be way easier to read?

Don't you guys also think that this logo is a bit too much?
I mean, there's her usually A in it and built upon that the Countdown live. They can't use it for smaller goods, cause it's even harder to read when it's smaller.
I get the idea they had, but it's badly executed.
And I think it's just black and white cause the theme is classics. I don't think there is any other connection to the show itself.

Even with the coloring, I found it hard to read. My brain still automatically thinks the first line is supposed to be Ayumi and the second Live (the W looks like a I and V!). The font is just too bold and... swirly, I guess. I would have wanted something softer at least, to make it easier to read.
:no It's a big fail to me, boring and incomprehensible. And I really don't like to say that about things to do with Ayu...

i've never said this before...but it's HIDEOUS. i always like ayu's logos. not this time around, i guess. i'm kinda surprised she let something like that pass. it's just so chaotic and random. makes no sense. you have to REALLY look at it hard to even be able to read it. the colored one looks a lot better in my opinion but the overall design is just a big fail :(

It looks sorta ok from far away...you could kinda see the split heart...but when look at it close it dosen't look good...it hurts my eyes

OMG! it took me for a while to read the logo :dead2 for the first time i thought that O.U.N.T is a word for Ayumi but it is for COUNT O_o yea i think it's more to future rock not future classic.IMO i didn't see any classic part of it. lol,first the You were..PV which has so many symbolysation and interpretation,and here comes the logo.Ayu just being sooo artistic and discrete this year,i think :P

In color it looks a little bit better, in terms of readability, but it's still a very bad logo this year lol.

after letting Sunrise/Sunset cover see the light of the day, this is nothing really, just a lame attempt to make something creative, it's just a logo, her CDL logos are rarely something I find cool.

It's like rice-momoya just use all the newbie interns to do ayu stuff or something. o_O It's depressing.

While it indeed is horrendous, I can at least appreciate the attempt. Sounds lame, but not something that should be taken for granted coming from them.

Last years logo... "oh, let's just color the AT08 logo pink, because pink is so... premium... it really shows that the show is... um... premium. Someone has to believe it."

I'd rather have this disaster of a logo than some lame rehash that has zero identity.

I like the logo! I think it's artist, and the asymmetry is probably deliberate as isn't asymmetry present in Japanese architecture...that's why it's classical looking. ;)

i dont think it was ayu's original intention to make it such that the C, D and E of the logo form a heart shape. Because if its the case, she would have made it more obvious like using a different colour for the 3 letters or what..

I was just playing 358/2 Days and realised the countdown logo has similarities with the Kingdom Hearts logo.

i like the idea, i just think they should have spaced it out more and shrunk down the big letters at least a little to make it a tad more legible. I also dont like that the last word has the last letter enlarged instead of the first one.

I really love the design and all, but it shouldn't take that long to figure it out.. it's a bit too much. But very nice ^^

This logo seems like something my friend would have done. He really is into the whole ''hiding letters in the drawing'' kind of thing. And the letters are not more obvious because thats kind of the point-for the letters to be hidden-. I really like it and I am going to show it to my friend. He is not big on Ayu music but I am sure he will love this logo.:D
