Oh I really like their 1st DVD :heart . It means a lot to the group cos last July it was the 1st time they performed at the Budokan & it was a dream come true for the guys , especially DAIGO cos it's a known fact that Budokan is known as a sacred performing ground

when you perform at the Budokan , as an artiste , it means that you have finally accomplished something if you know what I mean

DAIGO broke down when they did Hikari as the 2nd last encore in the performance & the song was written/composed/inspired by this event & he was really emotional when that happened

in fact talking about this , they will be going back to perform at the Budokan again this coming July to celebrate their 3rd anniversary !

anyway , what I suggest for you's not to get the DVD 1st . Listen to their material 1st before you decide whether you want to get it or not

I know someone uploaded the whole WISH DVD on jpopsuki but the file's really big X_X

maybe after you listen to BREAKERZ , then you listen to DAIGO STARDUST's solo material

1 thing I like about them aside from the fact that rock music's my fave music genre's that they do everything hands on

from writing to composing to producing to being in charge of synth programming

in fact most of the material's written & composed by DAIGO himself , I say about 80% - 85% ?

their self titled debut album , he more or less wrote & composed everything himself

I like all of the songs the only song I don't really like much is REAL LOVE

it's their most fanservice epic song to date , live performance wise 8D :laugh :laugh :laugh & it's 1 of the many songs that they never fail to perform live at all

the 1st time I saw them performing REAL LOVE in their SPECIAL SUMMER PARTY @ SHIBUYA-AX (which you can download the whole footage of the performance gig in their PVs discography thread) , my eyes popped up literally X_X X_X but nothing beats the REAL LOVE performance that they did in the Budokan DVD :dead2

if you read the lyrics translations for it , you know why DAIGO's always doing 'stuff' to guitarist AKIHIDE prior to the ending of the song :innocent

I honestly don't really like their 1st album so much as it's quite raw . It didn't even chart on Oricon too D:

but there were some gems on the album like WAKE UP MY SOUL , Miss you

I kinda like the rawness even though some songs sounds similar...

yeah that was the problem I had with their 1st album . Most of the songs sound the same & it didn't help that there weren't any singles included

CRASH & BUILD their 2nd album , I like that a lot more than their 1st cos the other 2 guitarists had some personal input as compared to the 1st one which was minimal . I only don't really like 3 outta 11 songs on the 2nd album

Ao no Mirai , their mini album before they started to release singles , is awesome ! The only song I don't like's the last song DESTROY CRASHER which was so random O_O

I really really enjoy listening to his voice live xD

I said yesterday that CRASH & BUILD is fantastic . In fact most of the songs on there , they love to perform many tunes from the record live & they always have a lot of fun doing them

such as NO SEX NO LIFE , B.R.Z ~Ashite e no Kakehashi~ (for encore most of the time) , IN THE SKY (where there's 1 part in the later 1/2 of the song where DAIGO will lick his microphone :innocent) , SUGAR BABY , EMILY

B.R.Z. ~Ashita e no Kakehashi~ and Dandelion are probably two of my faves.
I'm still not done with the Album so I still can't decide, but yeah it's better than their first album because there's some diversity in the composition but I still think some of their songs sounds alike...

I'm kinda excited for "WISH" Live too bad I still can't buy it right now.

it's a lot more musically diverse & you have a lot more experimentation going on which I really like

from pop to acoustic to latin to jazz to dance synth to ballads which're mixed with their signature rock sounds , there's frankly something for everyone to enjoy in FIGHTERZ :)

I haven't listened to all the albums yet... Got carried away with tagging and I'm still tagging every music file I have.

I love most of the tracks.
The tracks I don't like much are
CHICKEN RACE - There's really a lot going on this tracks, it's noisy.
Day Soldier - I kinda don't like the random instruments on the background. The chorus's a bit weak for me.

My faves from this album are SUGAR BABY, Hoshi ni Negai wo, and B.R.Z. ~Ashita e no Kakehashi~

I'm taking all their discography slowly so that I don't get easily bored of them.

“Kuroi Bara no Kahori” (Scent of Black Roses) by the breakthrough visual band Le Creuset, “Ponchiikan” by China’s breakthrough visual band Manchikan, and title song “Kuroi Inazuma no Irumineeshon” (Black Lightning’s Illumination) by the breakthrough visual kei football team from America, Black Thunder… these hit songs (?) of fictitious bands running inside DAIGO’s head will be compiled in a CD for real.

These came from FUJI TV’s variety show “Waratte Iitomo,” the Wednesday edition of which hosts a segment called, “Happyou! Shiranakya Ikenai!? Saishin Waado Tenrankai” (Announcement! Exhibition of Must-Know Trendy Words). Born from DAIGO’s wild imagination, these songs came to life one after the other.

In the said segment, the participants are asked to answer what the meaning of the trendy word for the day is. “Le Creuset” is a French brand of enameled cast iron cookware, “Manchikan” is a breed of cats with short legs, while “Black Thunder” is a brand of “tasty like a flash of lightning” chocolate snack sold at 30 yen. DAIGO’s peculiar answers to them, however, were that they are visual kei bands, with each answer getting even more bizaare every week. Accompanied with a roar of laughter, these weekly compositions have accumulated, and in an absurd development are now being released in the form of a CD.

Previously, the recorded version of Le Creuset ga-chi-de DAIGO ’s “Kuroi Bara no Kahori,” was made available through a lottery restricted to only 10,000 winners. The draw attracted 200,000 subscriptions, however. The demand saw the compilation of the said song plus eight more tracks, including a special version, “Kuroi Bara no Kahori ~Zoukangou Version~” performed by the all-star cast of Wednesday Iitomo regulars.

This is the first time in the 28 years of Waratte Iitomo that such a CD is being released. A total of 9 songs running approximately 11 minutes, “Happyou! Shiranakya Ikenai!? Saishin Waado Tenrankai” is the world’s shortest (?) micro mini-album, on sale May 12 at 1,000 yen (tax included).

Shunrenka is really a beautiful song. I love it. The pv is really meaningful & you should see the end to understand why Haruka Kinami is the only person who listen to them. It's a bit sad for a spring song.

yeah DAIGO sounded a lot more raw & vulnerable in Shunrenka & I wouldn't be surprised cos this song was inspired by his real life experience of an unrequited love

but now not really because when I compare FIGHTERZ against BIG BANG ! , the album tracks in BIG BANG ! are not as strong as the singles except maybe for BIG BANG ! , GUILTY , Aitakute (:weep) & probably even BUZZER BEATER (LOL xD)

for FIGHTERZ's case , the album tracks are equally great if not are more superior than the singles & it helps that they were even more experimental than usual . BIG BANG ! was no nonsense straight up rock but FIGHTERZ's so musically diverse which I really like

I love Shunrenka I think I actually teared up.
It's so refreshing to hear Ao no Mirai Acoustic.
I was excited for Dandelion Acoustic because Dandelion is one of my fave BREAKERZ song and I actually teared up a bit too.
Bambino, I actually had to listen to the FIGHTERZ version I prefer the FIGHTERZ version.
I enjoyed listening to ~Ashita e no Kakehashi~ it's really calming on its own way.
I love BIRDMAN it just sounds so awesome.
I was surprised when I saw Miss you because I thought the Original sounds acoustic enough but nonetheless I love it.
I also love Nanzenkai ... Nanmankai ... I love the intro~

My faves are Shunrenka and Dandelion~

DAIGO, who just turned 32 on April 8, announced a post-WISH DAIGOism along with his inauguration as supporter of the metro exhibit, Chagall (July 3-October 11, The University Art Museum – Tokyo University of the Arts).

The new word is “kuraimu.” At 32, DAIGO proudly exclaimed that he wants “to live his life running full-speed on his own path, painting his own life-kuraimu!”

At the mention of “kuraimu,” the press’ reaction was, “…” At this silence, DAIGO explained, “It’s a DAIGOism. “Kuraimu” is from the English word “climb,” which I attach at the end words everytime I want to heat up the place. Grandpa’s (Former PM Takeshita Noboru) first name also means the same thing, and it’s kind of a good omen.”

Also commenting on the previously rumoured passionate love affair with Kanjiya Shihori, he says, “Totally not true-kuraimu. I was shocked-kuraimu. I swear upon grandpa’s name that it’s 158% false,” immediately putting the new word into repeated use.

I wonder if things will be diferent if the acoustic album was a full length one instead but sigh , it's not going to be top 10 overall :( & I believe this's going to be their 1st release not to get a top 10 debut position since their 1st mini album Ao no Mirai which debuted at #123 overall
