It's already on the path towards outselling the number 1 single last year. All three days sales have been higher than the three days for Believe. So yeah, unless a single comes out of nowhere this year to sell big, it will be the yearly number 1.

I don't think we can say yet because last year when believe was realeased there was an economic depression and demand for these CDs was lower because not everyone had the freedom to just buy what they wanted because of debt, bankruptsy etc. But now Japan and most of the world is on the up turn so demand will be rising leading to overall better sales than last year and happyier AVX, Johhnys, etc. :D

A million seems hard. I mean, they're only halfway for a million and the strongest sales are always in the first week. It really helps that Arashi have fans from all age groups, otherwise these sales wouldn't be possible. I like Troublemaker but I prefer songs like truth and Believe and they didn't sell as much (yet). It's amazing how their older singles still go strong in the charts, though.

Well, almost a record, but very high there - at a time when others are struggling to catch up? Come on, competitors - you've got to catch up!

Anyways, congratulations, but if the first day sales were higher, they could have made their all-time best...

I never realized that Johnny's don't release their music as digital downloads. This explains why their sales are almost always better than the sales of others. If you want to get that song you have to buy a physical copy. Interesting. Johnny and his marketing, quite unique. Like not publishing photos of them and only in selected idol magazines. It's an old school strategy that seems to work.

BTW I'm not saying that Arashi wouldn't be on top of everything if they sold digitally. They are just at the top, atm, no matter what. :D

ah yes I'm sorry . School has been SO meh for the month for March for me & like what you said , my interest towards ARASHI has basically dropped rock bottom & it's really odd because I'm still interested in the other Johnny's but I'm not into them as much as before

it's a case of change of music interests (as I have a new mission to push BREAKERZ's name a lot more than ever as they deserve to be heard/more known as compared to the gazillion million fans that ARASHI has D: ) & also I have been avoiding posting on here cos of my outbursts I had on here a while back ago as I was so unhappy with stuff over the guys on a lot of things (I probably look at things differently as compared to other people as I have been so interested in the way things are work in the music business since forever)

i re-watched saigo no yakusoku tonight, but this time i watched it with subs, lol. i dunno, call me crazy (i know i am :tipsy), but i can only cry during a drama if it includes anyone of arashi in it, haha. i keep crying in their dramas! i never cry during regular dramas or movies. i'm too sensitive. :P

anyway, i'm anxiously awaiting for some new single news. and i REALLY want to know when their new show starts. in the meantime, i've been watching HnA or VS arashi on youtube. i just want the new show already :weep
