She says she felt warm when she received the book, despite the cold. She says she was almost crying, but she was wearing sunglasses so people couldn't notice her crying.

I think she says also that TA is not only Japan, when she sees that she got so many letters from all over the world, she feels like it's a really big family (I'm changing a bit what's been written, but it's the general meaning)
