Uh, I just have ayu as my wallpaper, her songs, some of her merchandise, some of her CDs, and yeah :).

It's such a GORGEOUS wallpaper!!! I LOVE it sooooo much! I think, I'm using it since one month and I still don't feel like changing it!!
It's beautiful and I love the colouring most of all! :heart

Well, my Ayu-maniac days have just begun.

I'm still building my wallpapers/screensavers/picture collection (if anyone could provide a link to download that "A" cursor, it'd be most appreciated :D ). I don't have her as my destop background right now, but she probably will be next.

I haven't been making graphics that often I hope to make another Ayu one soon (the one in my sig, is one of the simple few I made)... it's kinda hard to do since her pictures are already so amazing and I don't want to tamper with them :laugh

I've made plenty of gifs and animations from her videos though. :P



I've only done one drawing of Ayu (not from lack of trying, it's just the only one that's turned out right lol).

I really wanna do a really Arena Tour 2010 inspired pic because the costumes are just amazing. <333


And of course now that I have a (somewhat) steady course of income, I'm starting to collect her albums, some singles, and other stuff like posters, ayupan, tour merch, etc. so I can properly show my support for her. :yes

So I've got a looong ways too go before I'm on all of you guys' levels of Ayumania. :D But I hope to get there one day.

Welllllll... I'm not as crazy as all y'all but the maniac did visit me ;)

She went to my computer, changed my wallie, user pic, & button thingies (the stuff you click on at the desktop) to Ayu...

Then she snuck to my iTunes and spent quite a while changing every single song title to its proper capitalization...

Then she bought every single song available on iTunes (over time, of course) except for remixes and synced them all to my iPod!

Then she went back and downloaded all the songs not available on iTunes. Someone stop this maniac!

As if she hadn't had enough already, she went and downloaded every single PV from YouTube to her computer, and she spent 3 hours downloading her favorite concert performances not available on iTunes... This resulted in taking up half of my iPod's space (which is 32GB) and over 100GB of my computer's space :thud

Oh, but this maniac isn't done yet. Next she hit my wallet, making me go on a shopping spree, buying 5 magazines ($11.99 each), 2 CDs ($50 each), and a NEXT LEVEL tour towel ($20). (@_@) That cleaned me out of cash :laugh

No, she STILL isn't done... Then she posessed me to spend countless hours drawing Ayu, Tweeting her with no luck, searching for new pictures, and listening to her music while on a marathon :yes

Then she made me write a report on her, draw little chibis to tape all over my binders, make 7 Ayumi plush toys...

Then, as if to give me the final maniacal laugh, she wrote 「浜崎あゆみ」 on the line to put my name on the HW that I was about to turn in.

Now I am left with the aftermath of this maniac's rampage...

*gasp*

Oooh yeah, she also made me stay a fan for over four years!! :yatta

Hehehe I've spent a couple of afternoons doing these things too. :D Sad part is that for the videos I had to eventually go back online and find DVD-rips because the quality of the YT videos weren't good enough to make decent animations. :no

I used to have like...80GB of music, pictures, and videos on my old computer, but then the motherdrive crashed and I lost everything. Now I'm left with my laptop that frequently breaks down, so I can't do that. I've just got all her albums and a few pictures that I find particularly nice. :)

I've also got 6 albums, 3 singles, 2 posters, 1 deck of cards, 4 magazines (lost one), and one lost Ayupan. LOL.

I did that "A" logo cursor myself. I just resized the cursor and draw a pointed arrow on the picture. You can also make your own cursor, especially to people like you, who loves to draw on computer. http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-maker

Well, I wouldn't considered myself a manic, yet....

I mean, besides collecting all of her studio albums (except NFN and the remixes), 1 lonely single (for now), 4 concert DVDs, 3 posters, 4GB and counting of her music in my iTunes folders, 2GB of videos of her performances, about 1GB pics and wallpapers, and I've created a Twitter account just so I can followed her (and oh, alan too) :P

I only been a fan of hers for only 2 years...

i used to be rather crazy. Now, even though I spend more money on her (because her extra special unneeded limited first press versions force me to) it feels way different.

I used to be all about Ayu, haha. I downloaded every performance possible, magazine scans, music videos, etc. I suppose now that I have a laptop instead of a desktop computer, my priorities have changed haha. (Or I've just falled out of that phase :))

I do miss the years when I was crazy for everything she put out though. :P


Being a new fan was so much fun. Because you're able to go and instantly download old things and get "new" performances and such. Now that I've seen everything, I can only wait for new stuff haha.

A few characteristics describe my mania (some have been mentioned by others, some not):

I have a rule: An Ayu song a day keeps the sanity away!
All my electronics are Ayu-decorated
I have posters hanging at all my residences
I have several playlists on Itunes dedicated to her
I've written many of her lyrics on dud blank CDs and they're stuck to my walls. It's a cool effect, actually.
I have all her songs except a few remixes, including PVs and most making-ofs
I have most songs memorized
I have hundreds of Ayu picture folders and photoshop creations
I'm saving up my money to go to Japan solely to see a concert!

Hmm...well I feel like I'm pretty crazy about Ayu. She's the only Japanese/foreign artist that I even bother to purchase music from, and I've already paid hundreds of dollars altogether for her stuff. I listen to other J-artists, but I don't try to buy their stuff because I think it's a waste of money.

I have her entire discography in my iPod, and she's the most played artist on there as well.

I wrote my college application essay on her, and how her lyrics have greatly influenced my life.

I improved my vocals by a tenfold when I started singing her songs. They were great vocal trainers :yes. For a time, Ayu even made me want to become a singer.

I tried so hard to get my mom, sister, and best friend (AyUta who is now a big fan) into Ayu's music. I wanted to spread the love :heart. My mom and sister didn't mind her, but they didn't like go bonkers for her music.

And when I get my own laptop in a couple of weeks, I'm gonna decorate my background with Ayu's purty face :luv2.

Overall, Ayu has greatly impacted my life. I'll never forget all that I have experienced and learned from listening to her music. I feel that I am an Ayu maniac mainly because I have allowed such a distant and completely alien person (we're on two different sides of the world) to strike me so powerfully.

Oh my god... LOL. I can't believe some of this stuff tbh.

I'm not really a maniac, I have all her albums + b-sides in my itunes... and that's about it. :(
