Dropped? That sucks. I don't like all of her music but she's sooo talented and different than all the other singers in Japan.

I'm still considering to get this best album as honestly I only came onboard OLIVIA's music when she released a little pain & I have no interest to listen to her older material

but I'm intrigued as to what songs will make the cut since it's a double disc set

I'm quite sure I'll be seeing a little pain , Wish on the tracklist somehow or another

I discovered her by chance when I downloaded the WISH PV. You have to check out her older stuff! Some of it is just brilliant!

I will definitely buy this BEST album since I only have The Lost Lolli. The CD+DVD edition isn't limited, right?

I haven't checked the OLIVIA thread for quite some time. So she's releasing a best album? Yay. :) I just hope she doesn't follow in Utada's footsteps and take a long break afterwards or retire alltogether. =\

She was dropped by her company or something. Soooo I guess this best of album is either "Hay guiz I'm gone ttyl~" or "I'm gon' be on long hiatus because my company treats me like **** Baibai~"

I hope she gets signed somewhere else or starts her own label...

she's dropped from her management, which is VISION FACTORY. i think namie is on this management too, right? it's not official that avex (which is the actual record label. cutting edge is just a sub-label of avex.) will drop OLIVIA, but if it wouldn't be so surprising if they drop her as well, especially when a BEST album is going to be released. so in a way it all just adds up. but until an official statement gets made or whatever, let's just hope for a positive outcome of this, which would be OLIVIA continuing to release music on avex, or a different label. :)

I think a possibility is that avex don't like the music OLIVIA is doing right now, they want NANA-esque music

As far as the rest of the music that will be released, do any of you think that the majority of the songs will come from The Lost Lolli and Synchoronocity? All of the songs from her mini-albums except for 5 are on these two albums . And from the list posted, songs from OLIVIA inspi' Reira (Trapnest), The Cloudy Dreamer, Trinka Trinka, and a single song from The Lost Lolli has already been confirmed.

I don't think so. I think songs from TCD and her inspi' REIRA songs will be on there, most all of them. Those are the ones that the japanese really seem to like. Shame, because I much prefer her "darker" songs.

I'm afraid it means exactly that Avex gonna drop her. Let's be honest: OLIVIA isn't profitable, because she's not popular and releasing rarely. There's no reason for commercial label to keep such artist - she should release under independent record label.
