I honestly don't like that photo they used of her X_X but it's nice of them to mention all the various accomplishments she has attained from then til now

And I like the photo, pink's a good color on her (but maybe with darker hair)

I'm glad she grabs some recognition and attention in international news. They used good photo of hers. :)

I dont think so...only cause, it shows ayu did hers first lol

this is great! I love when they do articles like this!

That should make us up happy - and Ayu's still running strong, at least...

IYFreak 26th August 2010 08:29 PM

this Title......I was totally thinking it the other day like "wow, ayu has made around 400mil, and barely anyone in the US knows who she is, yet Japan is pretty much aware of everyone on that list"

It wasn't a comparison at all, it was a clever use of something most people in the west recognize (Gaga's song) and garner interest for something they DON'T (Ayu's song). Not to mention they credit Ayu with having struck that sort of ground first, so... er, y'know.

I like this article. And that picture is so pretty!

AWESOME news! RELI great!

And they used such a wonderful pic. I love her smile and I always liked the dress she is wearing!! :heart

jbrat2219 26th August 2010 09:47 PM

That's great that they're giving, not only Ayu, but all of these artists recognition outside of their native country that they might not have gotten otherwise! :)

jpopfan 26th August 2010 09:51 PM

Love this article! So happy to see X, Ayu, Wonder Girls, Faye Wong and others all in one area on a US website

There are probably hundreds of songs named like that. But yup, they are the most popular songs from that bunch. They just wrote that sentence to catch reader's eye especially, and I'm not sure if I like these tricks. :laugh

Maybe comparison was a bad word... Agree with all, you took words out of my mouth. Just what I wrote above, I'm not sure if I like it. :laugh
