Even though SID probably won't remain there for too long, I'm glad to see they've FINALLY made no. 1 on the chaku uta charts. They'd always been floating around the top 5, haha.
Didn't MOON also fall to no.2 after three days? |

Yarp, there's a clear difference between live bands and CD bands. ACIDMAN has never been a big seller (studio albums generally go for 50~60k) but they attract huge live crowds.
SID was selling out the Budoukan when their studio albums barely made it into the top 10. |
All low CD sales mean is less money for record companies. The fact that Ayu, SID etc can sell out crowds means way more than sell out the charts.
