Actually, I don't know much about the differences with endless sorrow. Can someone refresh me?

I didn't know about these differences :thud In some points, there are slightly different angles and coloring. Really interesting comparison :yes |
What a pity.. I also can't see the 2-in-1-Video. So.. I have no idea what are the different is. But.. it seems, it is only a little bit different.

Cool. I didn't know about this.
Anyho, I don't know but somehow I like the white/blue castle more (cuz it's prettier). But the yellow/brown gives out a more warm feeling (like the song itself). So I dunno in the end. I liked that the flower covered her into an egg like the tv version. But I liked more how the egg started to glow in the MS version. Thx for the video anyway, fun way to watch it on! |
Ok... I found it.
So... if someone will see the different... watch the following two Versions.. than you will see it. http://video.mail.ru/mail/pobeditel1971/196/7884.html (TV-Version) http://www.myvideo.de/watch/2765762/...ki_Forgiveness (DVD-Version) I prefer the TV-Version. It looks nicer! |
I can NOT understand why they made the egg-transition a zoom in & fade on the DVD version, and that difference I DID notice before, actually.
As MAJOR a difference as it was though, I didn't notice the palace changing from silver to gold until today! I feel like a dummyhead. XD I understand this change though... the PV looks more finished with the gold color, the silver kinda made the palace look like uncolored models that weren't done yet. Also the gold matches the interior scenes better. (They've also changed the moon & water colors to match the scheme, though they're less obvious.) Also, the first time we see floaty ayu flying around, during the last choruses, she's more zoomed in on the DVD version, and slightly vignetted. Interesting difference, one I can kinda understand. But yeah, don't understand the egg transition change at all. |
^ It's simply that evil "egg", coming to troll us forever :P
I think the landscape looked more realistic being silver on the TV version lol but I like the scene where Ayu is floating and is more zoomed in on the DVD version. Thanks for uploading it, it's interesting to see the changes made...perhaps one day we'll know the reason but it's unlikely until Ayu retires or someone does a proper bio on her.... I bet she's had lots of ideas for PVs that were rejected :P |
I think the blue-ish coloring of the castle in the TV-version looked more realistic too, or at least fit better in the night blue light. The brown sort of sticks out, like it's not affected by the light.
That egg bothers me too. Unless she answers it herself, I guess it's gonna be speculation forever. I thought the animation of the egg opening and closing maybe looked a little too technical, like a door opening in a future space ship or whatever, and it wasn't what she was trying to say. Regardless, I wish it had stayed. |
I wish they just had both versions on the dvd. :/
|
I think they edited the MA version and cut all that stuff is because the CG just looks so bad and cheesy.
|
I believe the egg doesn't look at all magical if it opens the way it did...
Fade makes it look surreal, I don't know. About the blue coloring, it looks new and not ancient... |
TV version is better
