Ayaka has had some of her songs certified, like, over a year late. Minna Sora no Shita is Platinum in Chaku Uta Full and Gold in PC downloads, Yume wo Mikata ni is Gold in both. WINDING ROAD is Double Platinum in Chaku Uta Full

Sing to the Sky? Nah, just Triple Platinum, which makes more sense considering it sold 640k copies.

Her best album has been certified million, though.

Today it was announced that singer ayaka, who went on an indefinite hiatus at the end of 2009, has created her own independent label and is in preparations for her comeback in early 2012.

ayaka, who is married to actor Mizushima Hiro, had her last performance at the ‘NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen‘ on December 31st, 2009. The singer is suffering from Graves’ disease and wanted to completely focus on its treatment in order to improve her condition.

After her last concert in November 2009 and her said performance at the music show, all of her fans have been highly anticipating to hear some good news from the singer. Today the wait is finally over.

According to ‘A stAtion‘, the private agency of ayaka and Mizushima, her condition has stabilized and she is currently devoting herself to finally release a new song within the first couple of days of 2012. ayaka herself also announced her comeback, and her own label, with a handwritten message on her official website and told her fans, that she wants to continue to sing as soon as possible.

Let’s look forward to what kind of songs ayaka is going to produce with her own label and of course you should keep on checking Tokyohive for more updates about her comeback.

Nice but I hope she didn't lost her beautiful voice with this disease.

^ doubt so, she took a hiatus because she didn't want to loose her ability to sing (because she could have underwent surgery but she choose not to coz it could affect her vocal chords and just went on a leave for serious treatment instead)
