As far as I'm concerned, YUI doesn't own Tayou no Uta ..

Aw I thought she was really going to cover it, it would've been weird since the song doesn't really fit Yoona's voice.

Yeah, its not a cover. and like what someone else said, this is a no sense album. i think they always release these ;__; and if it were to be a cover... she cannot sing. sorry but thats that. /bricked. and i like snsd so no meaning to hate here :3

i know she doesn't have a great voice, but it's not like you'd have to be able to sing to cover that song anyway.

It's just a re-release of the album... it was release a couple of years ago if I'm not wrong :S
I wish they covered the songs this time... xD

Because I actually downloaded the compilation a few years ago (the cover reminded me of it b/c it had the same cover... i think) :innocent

Anyways, it would've been cool if they covered the song this time instead of re-releasing an album of bunch of random songs...

I listen to SNSD occasionally and I hope that YounA will do Ayu's song justice (if ever it is a cover album). If it turns out to be a compilation album, well, I must say that she made a great choice choosing Ayu's Boys & Girls.

^she's not covering it, this is compilation album of their favorite J-Pop songs. So it will be the original Ayu song. And I wish a mod would close this thread. XD

Ah, well I don't mind that at all then! I'm just worried the cover won't be great or it will be entirely different (which may possibly make hers more well-known than Ayu's). Anyway, yeah I just noticed this has been getting a lot of replies even the topic seems a bit..er far from AHS taste (or something). xD

I'm actually glad she isn't covering Boys & Girls since I don't like Yoona at all & her voice turns me off as well :yes
