How much is the overseas version? |
Well.. you can buy it later. You don't need to buy it imediatly.
I buy all the albums later. No Problem. |
Get the CD only!
It's $35 with shipping, I promise! Get SAL shipping, it's 500 yen. It's the slowest, but CDJapan is still pretty quick. You'll probably get it by the 26th I would think! If you use the "winter2010" coupon code, you get 500 yen off. Free shipping! So your total is $35 :D |

There's too much pression here, sometimes. I remember when I said I would not buying her 50th singles project trilogy, because I preferred buy a pair of shoes instead. Suddenly, the drama :laugh. As much as I love Ayu some things have a priority order and well, I can't wear her CDs as shoes lol.
Unfortunately nobody is rich enough to get every her release, or maybe not the most of us. Because 80% of AHSusers are students. If you are not able to get an album, don't worry you're not a bad fan. The numbers of CDs on your shelf don't represent your love and respect for an artist. |

^ That is so great of you but in my heart I can't accept. I am just a person who does not like to take things from people because I don't like to take advantage of people's goodwill and nature. That has happened to me too many times before, story of my life in fact. It really does warm my heart to see how generous you are though! :yes
Where are they selling the overseas versions? |

I never buy cds at all because I don't have the money to spend
That's why when I can, I buy ayu merchandise because I know I'll use them and They wont be gathering dust in my attic (like the ayu concerts I have) But that doesn't make me less of a fan than someone who keeps buying everything she releases So you shouldn't be sad you're not alone in this, other people have the same case as you |
don't worry too much, a couple of years ago you wouldn't have been able to listen to jpop artists without buying their releases. but thanks to the internet (and the generosity of AHS) you are not missing out on the craze :)
get it later, when you have spare money. don't fall for the AVEX marketing strategy, the album will later be just as good. tires sound less fun but way more important! don't be upset too much *hug* |

I think everyone said basically what I wanted to say so no need to echo it. :laugh
From what I can tell up here just from your posts, you're a great fan all.night.raver. Ayu would probably be happy to know she had such a fan that cared this much, so don't worry about it. **** happens. :P |
Thanks guys for the encouragement :)

Yknow I haven't bought an Ayu CD in two years because I was in college.
While I love supporting my artist blah blah blah, some of us are just too damn broke. And let's face it, the economy sucks in the USA. It took me 8 months to find a Job with a college degree and I'm only working part time retail. The only thing I bought in the past 2 years was Kuu albums and calendars because I was that broke. I think Ayu would prefer a roof over your head and food in your tummy. :) And TBH I ALWAYS wait for overseas version, because I'm frugal like that. lol. If that makes me a bad fan, then so be it. Sorry that I have bills to pay and don't rely on mommy and daddy anymore. XD |
Honestly, I wonder where the hell people get their money so they buy limited versions like potatos. Maybe its just poor me from poor country but I cant afford Ayu CDs as well and when I get them as a present Im ... the happiest girl in the world. and I dont collect them in shelf, I use them in car <3

Marry me and I'll order all editions for you.
No but in all seriousness, it's not the end of the world if you don't buy the album right away. I know exactly how you feel, because I feel the same way about her single and album releases, I just HAVE to have them. If you've got plenty to spend, it's great and you can buy limited editions. But sometimes you're low on cash, and in that case the best strategy is to buy the CD-only overseas edition. It's really cheap that way, and you'll still support her! I know it's a bit less exciting, but it'll still be fun holding the album in your hands and browsing through the booklet, right. And if you really can't afford it right now, buy it later. You can always add it to your order of her next single. Don't worry :) Being an Ayu fan is hard with all the (expensive) material she chucks out, but we'll get through! I've actually lived like 2 years without Mirrorcle World, only got it recently and I was still happy with it. Oh, and marry me anyway. |

I always get the overseas limited editions -_- cheaper, and apart from the little writing at the bottom that I need to read with a magnifying glass, I can never tell the difference.

I can see your point. Humans (including myself) are bound to be collectors. Everyone collects stuff (shells under the sea, stamps, artists' merchandises, etc.). As you grow older tho we figure out that lots of stuff are technically useless. I'm not convincing you to stop buying ayu cds, but when you have to spend your money on other important needs, you have to do what you should do first. You don't have to feel bad. Skipping an album or so doesn't make you a bad fan.
I'm kinda glad that I'm never a collector for ayu or hikki or other artist who I love. The power of desire will be humongous. I can see that if I was one, whenever ayu releases something, I would have to order every version immediately, or else I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, and my heart would be in contracting for every few seconds... |
