I think she always takes off her shoes when she is in the studio recording a song, too. Maybe she has a special feeling when singing barefoot?
I think it's nice that all the artists wore rather casual clothes. I don't think she wanted to look poor, I think she wanted to make this all about the music and the message.

Whoa, she's dressed sooo simple. It looked like she borrowed one of the construction worker's outfit. XD I can't wait to watch the performance though, I'm sure it's going to be great :D

I think things now in Japan are not very well to wear luxury clothes and glamorous hair in TV performances, people in Japan want to see their artists close to their fans and their country.

I can't remember the lyric of "Life"! I should read it again!

I agree with that. First I don't like the fact she's wearing a wig as if she looks she had short hair, now that is a mess. But...

This was as expected. I did not even expect that she should wear something overfancy. She's wearing something that should fit the situation right now. Currently, because of the ongoing situation with the earthquake victims and the lack of J-pop releases, we're not even seeing new songs for a while; that might have to wait until late Apri, and/or into May.

That's no wig, it's obvious it's her real her...

I like the performance, it was really good up to a point where Peco and Yoko opened their mouths and started doing their thing...loved the piano during the first part of the song.

Pity it had to take a disaster for her to finally perform Life, but I'm really glad she did. That song is so underrated :heart

Yeah, like njanjayrp, this is no wig, it's her real hair.

And I really love her outfit! It's very cute, and seems more comfortable than her usual costumes! I think many people will like it, especially Japan!

ok it was real hair lol...somehow ellen degeneres popped into my head.
it was really emotional..the lyrics are really...poignant to anyone going through that as of now. I hope Ayu's loved ones are safe as well.

Wait a minute...did she cut her hair?! Or did she just tie it up again? (I'm getting tired of Ayu cutting her hair again, but what it ends up is that I'm going to also have a haircut too in a few hours; maybe my hair could be different than the hair that I have been having...)

I think the performance is sweet.
But i still prefer the original version of the music - starting with piano is nice, but ending with the other piano(i dont know what is it called) is not to my liking

i don't think i've listened to Life since 2008, lol. it was a nice performance! i remember people saying how she wouldn't wear casual clothing, since she usually does that for CDL encores or whatever, but turns out she really did! :laugh ayu looked really cute!

i haven't really kept up with ayumi for the past 2 months, so is this a wig or did she really cut her hair?
