oh yeah I remember this!
they actually have a kind of tradition to hit her. try to check HEY!HEY!HEY! 1998.11.09 OP + talk video. they did hit her there too )

I'm sure she's big friends with these guys, they saw her becoming Empess of Pop, they hit her slightlt like big brothers do, so I'm sure she's not angry at them at all :)

I never saw a celebrities having problem with Ayu. But I think, it's someone don't like her, that person won't tell it because the his career can take a bad way after that. For example, Ayu's fans can stop to buy the CD or something else with tabloïd.

When you're under the spotlight they're always a shadow that keep secret thing.

I agree that fans, media & musical company( I thought about the A best that was created against the release of Utada's album) are the ones who create rumor about rivalities.

Those Hey!Hey!Hey! hosts are weird, they lifted up hitomi's skirt one time she was on there I think promoting MARIA. If that was a western show, there would be an outrage.

LOL! It's just that in western shows you don't have to lift up a skirt to see the contents...

I pretty much agree with everything Francisco said. Whenever Ayu was in MSta you could see she talked to the people who set next to her even when it was some of her "rivals" in question. I guess medias have created things that aren't really there. Though I'll never forget one pic of Ayu and Nakashima Mika from MSta.

Well, 'Downtown' (Hitoshi Matsumoto & Masatoshi Hamada) who host Hey³ are famous for picking on artists. There really isn't an artist they won't make fun of. So hitting ayu on the head is really nothing strange considering they said they really like and respect her. It's their thing to make the show more fun and show that artists are just human beings.

I don't think we would know about any trouble Ayu had with other artists. Respect for acomplishments is something very important in the japanese culture, so if you have any grudge, missunderstanding, whatsoever it's your private matter and not something to tell the world about.

He also admitted that he fell asleep during the concert when the reporter asked him about it, but he said he was super tired that night and he was very sorry about it. I don't think he hates ayu, but after what all the Chinese ayu fans said about boycotting his cds and wanted a formal public apology made to ayu... blah blah blah~ i feel that maybe he doesn't have a good impression on her, because he didn't went to the 2008 concert the year after that happened. I really feel bad for him, he doesn't deserve all the hate :(

I think all the hating on him is really mean. He stated a fact, YES, Ayumi lip-synched SOME songs in the tour. Like the biggest part of evolution(after she gets on the floor), but he never said it's a bad thing. Saying "Ayumi lipped in the concert" and saying "the concert was bad" are entirely different things.

^Actually, he compared her to Michael Jackson as a performer... And that's really something^^

^ What? Enlighten me please? o.O

RayJason 31st May 2011 06:18 PM

I remember reading something on what Ayu wore in the Rule Promotional Video(clip). Her outfit was copied from another artist. Although I'm not sure where I found this. But this was going on between ayu-fans and the other artists-fans.

edit;

Oh here is the link; http://asianfanatics.net/forum/topic...s-copying-who/
It seems that they were accused by the media/fans to have been copying each other.

I love Downtown :D, they're such a great duo and their show's hilarious. & I think Hamada is a friend of ayu, if i'm not mistaken. They even did the Wider in Jelly commercial together.

yeay I agree.
I think it's only the "America picture" where everyone is arguing and attending different courts with each other.

NEVER get into K-Pop. I think you will die from shock! :tired J-Pop's crazy fans have nothing on Korean fans and anti-fans (who are often the same thing!!!!)

I don't think Ayu's ever had a real "falling out" with anyone, other than Peach John's drug scandal and they cut contact for a long while (at least publicly).......anything is made up by tabloids or whoever to sell products.

AyUmIXx 2nd June 2011 09:43 AM

^ agreed..
Kpop fans are much crazier *no offense* but whether u like it or not, for me, kpop fans are scariest! even though i'm a fan of kpop too..and sometimes i dislike their attitudes.

i don't think ayu has ever had any problems with anyone. it's just fans who make ayu to be competed with some other artists and vice versa, usually the fans are the ones who are at "wars" haha XDD

I heard she had problems when noisy idol group Minimoni got invited to AYUREADY, she had an headache and she was like "shut up already!" and then one of the girls shouted at her something irrespectfully

But I don't think that's true either because in the episode we can see how one of the members really admires Ayu and sing Voyage a cappella for her

Bubbly 3rd June 2011 08:54 AM

^
I think it's possible that Ayu maybe got annoyed backstage because mini moni member kago ai and tsuji nozomi are still known for being very difficult when they were young but I don't think they acted irrescpectfully and I also can't really imagine Ayu saying this to some kids

isthisLOL? 3rd June 2011 03:48 PM

Didn't Ayumi tell some members of Morning Musume or so to stop smoking or something when she caught them smoking on a toilet?
