They're not that known in anglo american sphere, yet quite well known in their home countries, but I'll post them anyways.
CHristophe Mae: Mitya FOmin / митя фомим (great wintery song!): :love Please enjoy! Hope you like! (heu, I guess a russian artist isen't really "western" but... at least european hein.. Christophe mae is def western. :rolleyes Russia actually has a pretty good music scene. ) |
^ Wow that Mitya Fomin guy seems pretty good! I really liked that song! I've never listened to Russian music before so that was definitely something new to me :yes. I'll have to check out his music more.

Glad you liked MItya! He has some other cool songs too, I like dve semli and ogni boshovo gorada.
Maybe you'll also like the nieuw PV of Mylene Farmer's: |
Porcelain Black, I like her F-it additude and her older (Porcelain and the Tramps) music, her new music is more pop influenced, but I also really like it.
I'm also really getting into Reema Major lately, she is so talented and is an amazing song-writer in my opinion. I am also really liking Beth Hart, which I'm going to next year in concert, and really looking forward to it. I have no idea if she is famous in America, but she did enter on a big talent tv-show in the 90s... |
TWO WORDS, HAVANA BROWN! :love:love:love

If you like her you might like Santigold. One of my favorite artists ever actually, kind of similair to MIA. Too bad she's not that well known. Other one I love is Metric. Great canadian indie rock band. |

For me...krypteria maybe, they are a German symphonic metal group. Or pornophonique, who produce a pretty unique mix of 8bit and indie. I'd say Natalia Kills but she's pretty big by now. |
