I couldn't care less what anyone thinks about Kumi or any other artist when stating their opinion.. it's when it's constantly shoved in my face in the artist's thread that it begins to piss me off.

Lol, I thought my post was rather positive! I really do love Kumi. I do, I mean, Driving is my favorite Japanese song ever - better than all of Ayu's works! That's a lot to say! It's just like, with Kumi I don't put a lot of pressure on her, because I never feel like it's the end of the world when something isn't good. She releases so often that there is always something right around the corner. Of course I'm always hoping for something good, but I'm never as disappointed or distraught as I am if the same case happened with Ayu. I can't help but hold my expectations of her (Ayu) work to a higher standard, just because I love her so much.

Kumi is entertaining. Ayu is kind of, well, a lifestyle. Lol.

It's actually more of a relief when it comes to Kumi. I'm much more relaxed with her.

Anyway, I just bought my Nintendo 3DS, which cost close to 200 bucks after tax, so I am not getting Japonesque. As badly as I want to. When X-Mas is over I will see how much money I have and may get it if there is still first press.

It's basically for my own protection. I just expect everyone to fail. To expect the worse means that I'll be pleasantly surprised when it's good. It's basically a cushion and defense mechanism I have created for myself after R'n'R Circus.

I was thinking to myself "wow, this guy must've had a life full of disappointment to look at things so pessimistically..." and then i read the last sentence. shortly after that, i died.

Haha, I'm actually a very positive person. I've just found it's best not to expect at all, that way your always satisfied to some extent! There's nothing worse than trying to convince yourself that a release is great, when in your heart, you know it's not exactly what you were expecting, nor what you were hoping for.
