Some Screenshots of Kuu talking about JAPONESQUE on Goo Talk. You can see some weight has been put on, on her face, can't see her bump though. ): Actually, she really looks like best second session era there hahaha.

She looks pretty :heart Did we already get the actual video? I don't recall seeing it posted.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it here. The video doesn't work for me though >.>

^ thank you! :glomped

EDIT: She talks really fast as always >.<
Some points:
-Why JAPONESQUE as title? => She went overseas various times and she noticed that Korean, Thai and Chinese songs were being played a lot, but hardly any Japanese songs were being played. She hopes more Japanese music will be played overseas. She kept that in mind while making JAPONESQUE.
-She thinks JAPONESQUE is an album that you can always listen to –– it has cool songs, catchy songs and ballads etc.
-JAPONESQUE's cover/booklet is Japanese-like while staying true to her Koda Kumi image at the same time.

I have to say though, I love JAPONESQUE, but after this and Dejavu, it would be nice to see Kuu go back to more of her Jpop routes. :) Like she used to, more Jpop influenced by western, instead a lot of western songs :)

tbh I really miss her upbeat J-Pop songs like No Regret, real Emotion, Butterfly, Shake It Up, Crazy 4 U, So Into You, COME WITH ME. After all real Emotion made me her fan in 2003.

thnx for the video

Fierce, flawless, amazing, beautiful, etc.

Driving Hit's 4's cover is probably the best Driving Hit's cover ever!

Great title btw.

Why don't you e-mail the seller you bought it from? Sometimes they don't make you send it back. There have been times that I was given money back and got to keep the item. It just depends on the seller. Perhaps they can do something for you?

Thank you for the advice~ :D I'm gonna send them an email :)

No problem. I've learned that you should always let the seller know. They want feedback and want to make you happy. You might get a small bit of money back, or something for free, who knows. You might not get anything, but at least you tried. :)

I wish Kuu would do something with the sound of Butterfly, Crazy 4 U, real Emotion and Cutie Honey. I like the upbeat Jazz kinda songs :D

Gustavopc 8th February 2012 07:35 PM

I'd love another song like To be one, from grow into one, I love the disco feeling of it :)

Same. :) Although I am happy she is writing her music so it can be heard internationally like KPOP. She's right when there are less people internationally who listen to JPOP now, compared to KPOP. Probably because the Japanese Music Industry censors everything on the internet to do with JPOP, instead of realising the benefit of advertising the internet has to other countries, which is why KPOP is doing so well. Companies like YG and SM have done the right thing, and used the internet as a market, not shy'd away from it. :) JPOP used to be more popular than KPOP, until they started to take everything down, even harmless fan covers!

But yeah, it would be awesome to hear those type of songs from her again, to be honest back when she made those there were many people who liked JPOP in the west. :) And she's so good at that genre, too! I miss that type of sound from her.

Also, I've managed to rip instrumentals of 'So Nice' and 'Boom Boom Boys' from Utauga and will be uploading them soon, for people who want them. :) I also have loooooads of Kumi instrumentals, so if anybody wants some, let me know! :D

happiholic★ 8th February 2012 08:54 PM

I'm wondering if someone here can help me. I was listening to Driving Hit's 2, to the last track, love across the ocean [Caramel Pod Remix]. I'm wondering is there a more specific name for this genre of song? The way the keyboards sound at the beginning of the song, and the whole feel of it, I love. I've found a few songs that sound like that, they have a very 1990's dance feel to them, but I don't know what kind of music it is besides just "house". So yeah, does anyone know if there is a specific genre name for house songs with heavy use of keyboards?

Did you guys see this?

http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl...0&tx=130&ty=81

It's Lady Gaga new stage desing... pretty inspired by Kingdom's Tour IMO, don't u think so? Both are very similar. Even the catwalk is there.

I'm trying to find a pic of Kingdom stage just to compare, but I don't find anything. Do u have any??

Gustavopc 8th February 2012 11:07 PM

^ The page is locked, looks like you need to be registered. But I've seen the pic, and tbh it reminds me more of ayu's stadium tour than Kingdom tour, but the catwalk is like Kumi's...

emi♡ 9th February 2012 01:48 AM

It reminded me more of koda cause its a castle...ayus didnt seem as castle-y to me, but I might just not remember lol

setsuka 9th February 2012 02:05 AM
