She stopped working with Bancho after the end of 2009, which is when Minazo took over as nailist.

Just recently, AIKO from esNAIL started doing her nails instead of Minazo. Her costume designer is also no longer working for her, it seems. (the one who did all the outfits in that ViVi with the BIG outfits)

I was thinking that too but ayu chose to wear them so she must like them.


For me nothing has to be so perfect, little mistakes show you that you did your best.
I like them to be not perfect. I'm just saying :D

I wonder if they're still friends with Bancho Oo

I think Mayayu's style is very much like Bancho's. Very clean and tends to be super glossy. These are more matte but I don't think AIKO normally does her nails like this. It's possible that they're purposely like this for the shoot. The bad lighting and somewhat low quality photos also don't help very much, haha.

I believe they are still friends since Bancho occasionally goes to Ayu lives/events and they go to parties together. We just don't see them all the time like before since Bancho isn't Ayu's personal nailist anymore.

Thanks for the pics, they're really cool! I want to see more of Aiko before I start comparing her to Bancho and minazo, though.

I like the nails. They don't have to be perfect to be nicely done. The ones with the little kisses and the cheetah are my favorites...and the ones she currently has on are really cute, too.

AIKO usually do better nails than those, especially on your own nails. I've been visiting her blog since 2008 I believe and I've seen better things than what Mayayu can do!

Maybe AIKO did the nails matt because of the camera flashes in photoshoot?
