Agreed also. :yes

I mean...there's a PJ commercial, there's a Fuji TV drama tie-in, but not much else...

I wish..she give more promotion to it..
appearing on a bunch of tv show won't be hurt!
at least, her song will do so much better at chaku uta chart!

stivenoto 17th March 2012 04:53 AM

Dont forget some people already bought it online via itunes japan...
So i think this will affect her physical album sales...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 17th March 2012 07:50 PM

Ahhh this is good news at least! Not that it means anything for sales, but it's still exciting!

ayu_ready? 17th March 2012 08:22 PM

I never trust Ninki, it has never reflected the sales

Pieces_of_SEVEN 17th March 2012 08:31 PM

^^Of course not, but it's still nice to see that she's #1.

Umm...silly question, but I'm not sure: does Oricon count iTunes sales??

ayu_ready? 17th March 2012 09:10 PM

are digital sales ever counted at Oricon? as far as I'm concerned, Oricon takes into account only physical sales :)

Pieces_of_SEVEN 17th March 2012 09:28 PM

^^That's what I thought, I think I was having a brain fart, thinking there was some sort of loop hole for iTunes.

(And if you think about it, there really should be!) :(

ayu_ready? 17th March 2012 09:48 PM

they say in the US & EU they are already planning to count and take into account digital sales but when I read it it wasn't made clear how to do and how it will influence the artist or his/her income

Pieces_of_SEVEN 17th March 2012 10:10 PM

^^Shouldn't be that hard to calculate the sales ... and as far as income goes, I guess that should be up to the record companies.

#offtopic, but I'm surprised that BENI ranked higher than JAMOSA on the ninki. LOL

TeamAyu2004 17th March 2012 10:37 PM

i thought that the US already counts digital sales...
itunes is huge here and i think thats were most of the sales come from now-a-days

Pieces_of_SEVEN 17th March 2012 10:44 PM

^^Exactly...Japan needs to jump on the band wagon.

Personally though, I much prefer having my physical copy. :)

pimenta 18th March 2012 10:56 PM

I hope it sells more than 200k.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 18th March 2012 11:04 PM

^^I feel like that's reaching, but I'm right there with you lol
