This just in, Sashihara got caught sucking on some dude (eww for the dude) so it looks like there could be some commotion ahead for the AKB fandom. She's probably too popular at the moment for them to dump but we could always have hope...

Ughh I feel bad for the actual hard working girls like Takamina who have to deal with these scandals and the way it tarnishes the AKB48 image.

adantatu2 16th June 2012 04:52 AM

I read she will be now with HKT48. Maybe is true

yatsuda 16th June 2012 05:46 AM

I read an article about this on TokyoHive...
I'm not a fan, but I feel bad for her. But then again, rules are rules and she agreed to them when she joined AKB48.

visionfactory 16th June 2012 06:26 AM

Sasshi won't get fired and she will be the face of HTK48, I don't see anything bad here. I feel bad for the others girls that had been caught on scandals and were instantly fired.

Polyrhythm 16th June 2012 10:13 AM

She could've retained some dignity and just resigned. No, she had to drag all of HKT48 down with her. I would actually have some respect for her if she refused the transfer, made the right decision, and just left the 48 conglomerate (seriously, she's big enough solo now). Wow. All I can do is feel bad that the poor HKT48 girls have to be affiliated with this scandal, and be basically marked as the "punishment group" of the 48 family. They did not even get a chance to show themselves properly and now they're going to be overshadowed. They didn't do anything to deserve this...I liked the direction they were going in but Sashihara's selfishness stands to tear that all down. Sure, HKT will grow in popularity but as "Sashihara's group." Disgusting.

Kouyou 16th June 2012 07:38 PM

I just read that Sashihara was 15 or 16 years old when this happened so I'd like to point out that this is child pornography and whoever took the photos should be prosecuted as such, especially if he is of legal age. I'm not sure what the child pornography laws in Japan are (or if they have any at all) but there's no doubt that this is immoral and that Sashihara is in fact a victim here, too.

I just think her age at the time the incident occurred should be taken into consideration before everyone starts shaming her.

koumori 16th June 2012 09:01 PM

Poor girl was so young. :(

I came here to see AHS's reaction after randomly reading that article on tokyohive.
Is it really THAT big a deal for the fandom? I guess I just can't understand stuff like that, the only person I felt misbehaved was whoever sold those pictures to a newspaper/tabloid/whatever without her consent.

Well, idols aren't supposed to have a boyfriend, or to be more precise they aren't supposed to get caught having one. Butthurt guy selling the story is despicable, and tbh parts of his story sound rather fabricated.

Still, since she is one of the most popular girls right now, I guess /hope she'll be back again.

Mirrorcle Monster 16th June 2012 11:16 PM

Sasshihara got too many exposure and people are trying to make her fall. I dont have any soecial feelings for her, but i honestly dont get all this hate.

jeffycue 17th June 2012 12:03 AM

so she wont appear on the election single or she'll be there as HKT48 member #4 placer?

Oh I know they're not supposed to have boyfriends. The thing I don't get is the reasoning behind that. How does an idol having a partner influence the idol-fan relationship? There is a distance between idols and fans at all times, so they (should) know they realistically probably don't stand a change getting with them themselves, which makes jealousy rather stupid. Or is it a "purity" aspect rather than an "I want her" aspect? Though I guess that wouldn't quite work with the amount of skin they show at times...

I guess I'm just trying to understand why people care xD And therefore why such rules exist in the first place.

visionfactory 17th June 2012 06:52 AM

^ 20-60 years old japanese men (Which are the main fanbase of idol groups) don't like women who show acknowledge of sex. That's why an idol should be an example of pureness.

Bigtop 17th June 2012 08:42 AM

Not another scandal once again on a high-profile AKB48 girl...

Polyrhythm 17th June 2012 09:03 AM

Oh well w/e. Sashihara is gone from AKB. It sucks that HKT48 suffers but the net result at the end of the day.....open spot in Team A! Maeda's departure makes two so I'm curious as to who will fill those spots. I hope they pick someone interesting (no more lifeless ghouls like Yokoyama please). I also hope Sashihara is removed from Senbatsu for the new single but it seems too late now....-_- It would be a mess bumping everyone up one spot and it seems they've already done the PVs (poor Takajo).

That. And I guess the "I want her" factor is also important regardless of age (all the single guys /otakus etc.). AKB48 is not limited to this group, but these are the ones that bulk buy etc., spend the most money and are they first ones to voice their anger if an idol does't act to their liking.

YUKARI 17th June 2012 12:55 PM

wow, so Sasshi's no more in AKB??!!! woooow! so that means she won't appear at new single's tv lives and so?

well, I'm actually glad I won't see her with AKB girls :laugh but to be honest this is really strange, that the scandal happened at such time when she won 4th spot... kinda makes me feel like it's all fabricated.

This is disgusting. So this basically means that they're earning money because of some pervy men who discriminate women and pay to listen (read: watch) almost minor girls dancing around half-naked plus who are not allowed to have normal life! And it still exists? :thud:thud:thud

Akimoto said that he knew about the photos at the time Sasshi was promoted to Team A. He even asked Sashihara about it and she said something like "let's fight anyway", and because of that spirit is why he loves her so much.

It's something like they were waiting for this to happen someday. So I guess there are maybe photos of other members in this situation but they won't publish them till they get lots of media exposure.

It's not that bad, girls get boyfriends anyway but they do it with caution. It prevents idols from being converted into something like Paris Hilton or such.

Maemi 17th June 2012 11:58 PM

^ yeah I know xD BUT there are not only 2 types of women: the stupid/innocent ones and ****s like Paris Hilton. There are actually normal girls who are not afraid of sexuality and are not afraid to lead a normal life, the way they want to, because there's nothing wrong about being sexually active or even being open about it as long as it's decent :P But this is more the problem of the whole society, men and how they WANT to see women. Terrible and scary.
