.....................wow these were terrible and usually I can find redeeming factors in her pvs

AyuWorld 7th December 2012 11:46 PM

kinda boring and i have to skip some parts just to know the ending >__<

one of the part in Wake me up made me think that the other guy is gay and interested to Maro LOL!

but really kinda mess up for me i didnt get the idea of all these fight scenes between Ayu and Maro

and seriously Maro and Ayu you guys didnt look like fighting to me, the way Maro pushed Ayu is too "soft" and that didnt look real =_= i just cant

Chibi-Chan 7th December 2012 11:48 PM

I've watched them again and I sadly can't say I like them. This trilogy is missing a real plot. The break up and fighting just seems without any real reason. The scene where she's jumping alone was nice, but a scene that lasts a few seconds can't make a whole PV (or even a trilogy) great. In "Wake me up" I really can't stand her cute faces, that is way to much "hey look at me, I'm the perfect super duper cute girlfriend!!!".

Thank you lots

Delirium-Zer0 7th December 2012 11:49 PM

I don't think any imagination is involved. You & Me was a weak PV on its own, so she made a prequel and sequel.

Wake me up shows how she & Maro got together to begin with: cuz her real boyfriend was starting to ignore her & Maro made her feel more loved.

Then in You & Me they have fun for awhile before the fighting starts. They got together for what I'd consider to be the wrong reasons - because she needed SOMEONE, not cuz she loved HIM. So they butt heads - the relationship was never totally functional to begin with

Then in snowy kiss their relationship completely falls apart and she ends up worse off, lonelier, than she started.

I think it's a good story. Kinda redeems You & Me. Cept that the acting is still terrible =\

Agree with Delirium-Zer0 completely. The videos are very straight-forward.

Ugh, I wish she would be creative again~ Not here for this soap opera mess~

Well, she still got 'hurt' in some of them since she mentioned bandages and stuff on Twitter. I don't think they wanted to go for super realistic beatdowns anyway. I mean, I'd personally be kinda creeped out if they went for 'as real as possible' violence.

I guess I was mistaken about the scenes at the beginning of snowy kiss and Wake me up. It's not fantasy after all.

So she doesn't feel loved by her other boyfriend -> ends up with Maro -> not really 'in love with him' -> they fight a LOT as the relationship goes on (as seen in You & Me but in a hilarious fashion) -> she ends up alone again.

"sweet scar" has a plethora of well-used, subtle symbols. There you got your creative ;)

I also agree with Delirium-Zer0

I just try to find the reason of skipness of the whole story haha.

the PVs are such disappointment, ah well at least the songs make up for them.. i miss her old PVs like together when, you were, days

channy 8th December 2012 12:13 AM

None of the PVs could leave a lasting impression on me but the songs definitely did. Really happy with all four songs, "Snowy kiss" has such a trancy vibe!

I'm just really annoyed that both electro remixes (Wake me up & Snowy kiss) suffer from those awful dubstep influences. At least the "Snowy kiss" remix is still bearable to my ears as to the slight amount of dubstep elements.

"Wake me up" on the other hand faces entirely tonal devastation as soon as the dubstep noise kicks in. The rest of this remix is alas OK. Alas, because I actually love Remo-con and this remix except of the mentioned flaws.

chu-lips 8th December 2012 12:49 AM

ayu why doesn't go date with this handsome model than maro
LOL

chocopockymaster 8th December 2012 12:56 AM

I don't know why I seem to be so fixated on wedding rings, but I noticed that both she and Maro wore them in most (if not all? I only watched once and don't really need to waste another six minutes of my life) of the snowy kiss PV, which would definitely support the theory that that one comes last.

Though, given how much they fought in You & Me, it's a miracle they made it to the altar. :tired

TITANIC 8th December 2012 01:07 AM

I think that guy in wake me up pv is mannie in her real life and after it didnt work out she moves with maro.the very good song like wake me up has such an awful pv. Ohhhh

LeeLeeNeko 8th December 2012 01:15 AM

I forgot to say that but when ayu slightly pushes Maro on the bed and he just rolls over it and falls down on the other side I was like "wtf drama queen" :laugh This scene was so funny.

asagarichan 8th December 2012 02:30 AM

Thank you!

Tony G 8th December 2012 03:08 AM

Wake me up was executed very well, interesting storyline and the realisation that its connected to You & Me, but snowy kiss doesn't have be enough plot to keep it interesting for 6 minutes - which is disappointing as its such a good song, deserved a little better. These videos do redeem You & Me but honestly, that was a PV not worth making a trilogy out of.

tasking 8th December 2012 03:09 AM

I've had to deal with a little bit of domestic violence between my parents growing up. I'd like it a little more if Ayu was trying to bring more awareness to the issue, but it seems she just did it for shock value and for that I have to say for the first time I'm really uncomfortable and disappointed with Ayu's work. At the very least there should've been a warning label for victims. Even though the acting was bad, that stuff is never cool.
