Ayu rapping, now, that's something I want to hear! I'm so happy she's experimenting and starting to be featured in other singers songs.

don't think she is the rapper haha

lulz m-flo is still relevant and like, the most highly respected. Everybody loves Taku.

It's weird to have an m-flo loves Ayu after all of these years though.

I don't really care to have their styles mix, but at the same time, I'm happy that she's breaking away and working with some other people because her compositions and arrangements were getting really stale.

Tom Punks 20th February 2014 12:28 AM

^ i guess it's not really that m-flo are "has-beens" per se. more that i haven't heard of them even DOING anything since like 2006, but now that i look at their discog, i do see they collabed with 2ne1 and miliyah kato for whatever that's worth. it's just, collabing with m-flo was something you did, like, ten years ago if you were a popular r&b artist lol. not trying to shade taku, 'cause his production is great and all but.

i forgot you can still be considered relevant in japan barely breaking 10k in sales. sad.

and honestly i feel like a major part of her "branching out" is really just inability to get new songs from her usual composers. i mean, LOVE again was basically an album of leftover songs from years back. :\

visionfactory 20th February 2014 01:48 AM

OMG m-flo!?!??!??!?!?!?!??!!?!??! CAN'T WAIT!!!

NintendoHTF1242 20th February 2014 02:06 AM

Finally m-flo includes ayu into their "loves" series. Was wondering when it was gonna happen.

Merry-go-round is still one of Ayu's best songs in YEARS so I'm happy to see them working together again, and for Ayu with experimenting with different composers/arrangers. Was getting sick of Yuta Nakano.

AyuGAME 20th February 2014 02:15 AM

hard to hear the song, but i think it sounds good

hayasaki 20th February 2014 02:36 AM

I was expecting somebody else when Ayu mentioned she recorded a song for a certain artist. LOL Anyway, i like what i hear but i'm not impressed. i want another news. Something Ayu-only related news LOL

kaito_moonlove 20th February 2014 02:41 AM

The first time I heard it, I thought that was miwa's voice
After seconds, I realized that is ayu's one

MiiSan 20th February 2014 03:33 AM

I love the preview so far <3

Glad m-flo likes Ayu lol

adantatu2 20th February 2014 04:28 AM

Verbal (from m-flo) is like the japanese Pitbull, lol. He has a lot of collaborations with many popular artists.

and she's gonna rap? sighs. i'm sure the end product will be a nice, catchy or otherwise ridiculous song and all but... that's not what i listen to ayu for.

ayu can you please just ditch m-flo collabs and m-flo producin' your shit and get back to making dramatic music again. for the love of god. :(

Calm your shit. It's one song, and it's most likely not even going to be in her official discography. Also, they only collaborated with her on one single. :rolleyes I think of the 14 studio albums, 4 mini albums, 50 singles, 6 compilation albums, and the 20+ remix albums all spanning over 15 years, it's awesome to know she's finally making music with people she has never worked with. That is what I consider dynamic, not some summer pop tune or winter ballad she's done a gazillion times already. :dead2

LOL I love how you put the hate on m-flo when its really because you haven't followed them since 2006 or something. #Sorrybutnotsorry

The preview is pretty low quality and I couldn't hear much but it sounds like it can be nice. I'll wait til I hear a better preview, but if its musically more m-flo I have a feeling this collab is going to be better than Merry-go-round... IF Ayu is rapping... it makes me think of 1995 Ayu. Nothing from Nothing EP, gotta love that. :lech

Actually, I never really followed them. :) But like I said, they're good. They have tons of songs that are still bops to this day. It's just a weird move that feels 10 years behind its time for Ayu.

Considering, you know, their last single barely broke 1k and apparently peaked at #81. lol.

truehappiness 20th February 2014 06:31 AM

Ah, so this is the new song. The preview sounds fantastic!

AyuWorld 20th February 2014 06:51 AM

I can barely hear it x) looking forward to another preview maybe

but I as I really love MGR, I hope this one will be good too

Honesty, m-flo came out last year or the year before about how much they really disliked the state of jpop right now, and how they didn't care for many of the artists.

As much as I'm happy that they decided to do an m-flo loves ayu, I feel like it's kind of a -there just aren't that many people new to work with- type of thing lol

njanjayrp 20th February 2014 09:05 AM

Well this sounds interesting~

AyUmIXx 20th February 2014 09:17 AM

even though i hoped for a new single or an album.. well at least it's something new from ayu~
can't wait to listen to the full song.. can't really hear anything from the tv preview~
