Acid Black Cherry holds listening event for new album "L－エル－"

Acid Black Cherry, Janne Da Arc's vocalist yasu's solo project's album "L－エル－" will be released at last on 2/25 (Wed). Before the release they started "L－エル－ listening events" from Ebisu Garden Hall on 2/14 (Sat). They will be going around 6 cities around Japan, and in each city fans who love Acid Black Cherry will get to taste "L－エル－"'s world one step ahead.

"L－エル－" is a concept album with "love" as theme. Woman named "L" has had a life full of ups and downs, and the story of her life entwines together with the songs on the album. The album includes complete of 13 songs, including 4 songs that have been released as singles in 2013 and 2014: "Greed Greed Greed", "黒猫~Adult Black Cat~", "君がいない、あの日から... / kimi ga inai, ano hi kara...", "INCUBUS"。Each of the songs lights up as 1 page of album "L -エル-"'s world.

At the listening event the other day they used 1,5 hours and played all of the songs on the album. As the songs played from the speakers with loud volume, they brought the world of the album to fans hears even more vividly by displaying the lyrics and album's image illustrations on a screen. The listening event was first experience of it's kind for Acid Black Cherry, but we believe the fans were able to enjoy this experience different from lives by enjoying the sound and the lyrics one by one. After the event ended the hall was filled with applauds.

New album "L－エル－" will be released on 2/25 (Wed). By purchasing "Project『Shangri-la』LIVE version", "Project『Shangri-la』Document version" that include DVD's you can see material from Project 『Shangri-la』's arena tour's Nippon Budokan concert on 5/29, documentary movie of yasu and an MC best collection with the MC's for 61 concerts. There will be also 100-paged "L－エル－" concept story book included, so you can enjoy it together with the songs.

Bought the album for my sister's bday, she's really excited!
Cdjapan shipped my copy a few hours ago.

^ which copies did you get? I got her the cd only because of the photo book. I told her the other editions had a storyboard but she wanted the pics lol

Well... I got all three versions... lol I loved the idea of the storybook and I wanted the concert plus the documentary. And after deciding I buy both CD+DVD versions it didn't matter anymore to buy the CD only version also to make the collection complete. xD

So if she needs a rip of the concert, I will be your woman. ;)
