He/she did warn the staff that that foreign fan was taking photos after the show. So the Japanese fan was asking other members how to behave in such situation.
I don't know if this fan is on this forum, but let's not forget that we should respect other listeners of the concert. I have experience of standing next to Japanese fans who were singing along all the time, talking to each other in a loud voice and even laughing like crazy all the time. This was really frustrating.

oh wow...that's interesting because this WAS me at A BEST LIVE, my first ayu concert. I had absolutely no idea that I was being impolite at the time though. So during both cirque de minuit shows, I didn't sing at all! Except during Boys & Girls and TSMGO, of course. For half of a second, I thought maybe it was me they were referring to, because I did take a pic after the concert ended, but it was really quickly and then we got out of there. I definitely wasn't singing though.

Although...I always try to understand that different countries have different customs. Just like I had no idea two years ago not to sing, if someone who lived in Japan their whole life went to a Beyonce concert in the US, they would probably be shocked. I mean, I get why this fan would be frustrated, but you also have to understand that there's a good chance whoever was doing this just didn't know that they were being rude. :(

It's kind of a relief to know that it's not just foreigners who do this though.

He/she was taking photos AFTER the show? How is that a bad thing, is it not allowed?

She's extending the show, not cutting and replacing. I understand if one song has to go, but not that many. Japanese fans saw somewhere an announcement that the show's length is 3 hours and 45 minutes.

While I only sing out loud when expected I do think people are being a bit uptight. This is a concert and not a theatre play. Plus the music/ayu is too loud, I could barely hear myself think let alone someone else sing.

Keep in mind that I couldn't even hear Miccie sing during the chorus cuz the music is so effin loud^^

I agree. I see it from both sides. One wants to be respectful of others, but one also paid their damn admission fee as well and deserves to enjoy themselves. I'm not taking either side...but I understand both.

nah, there are staff walking around with microphones saying to exit the building and not take photos. I don't see what the problem is if it's after the show. I SEE PICS LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME ON INSTAGRAM from locals. So I don't even care that I took pics. haha

"What is this? People are screaming, singing, crying? People are...being loud!! and... displaying emotions!!... in public??!" *faints because of secondhand embarassment*
You always see japanese girls crying during Ayu concerts on DVD though.

What I noticed and forgot to ask:

Why does ayu not put the microphone on the ground, wait for everyone to be quiet, and yell arigato gozaimashita?

She did it at A BEST LIVE...and I'm not sure about Premium Showcase...does anyone know?

She hasn't done it for a while now, I believe? A BEST LIVE was a review of her past concerts and she did, but if I remember it right she hasn't done it since before that tour...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 20th June 2015 03:00 AM

^Oh, really? I never noticed. I'm actually surprised.

chocopockymaster 20th June 2015 04:28 AM
