Yeah sometimes she does just look a bit bloated and it's understandable cause she usually looks 'fine' after a while.

Didz-19 3rd April 2018 04:08 AM

I don't really mind if Ayu gained weight, as long as she's healthy and happy, then I'm happy too.

truehappiness 3rd April 2018 04:12 AM

I think people make a bit too big of a deal about it when it does happen. "Oh, she got so fat!" / "The photos we see are not the real Ayu!" yadda yadda.

Mariah did this a lot with photos of herself and I don't think it's the same thing with Ayu by any means, tbh.

aliceshields 3rd April 2018 04:44 AM

I just want the healthy and happy her, that’s all.

Some women tend to look bloated before their period. Maybe Ayu is one of them.

Yeah that is a big possibility, I was thinking the same.
It must be annoying being a celebrity and being criticized for any random change in weight that is out of your control (like period bloat). I know people say don't feel sorry for celebs, they got themselves into it, and they're rich and all but they are still human. Next we'll probably see some shot of ayu looking thin as a rail in a few weeks and people will criticize her for that...there's no winning really when a celeb is documented as being a human..

Sky High 4th April 2018 02:52 PM

She looks perfect. Ayu should not care about criticism, but her post adressing all this weight criticism is on point.

Not the first time but Im not interested with your opinion on my posts.

Netizens and 2ch/Girls Channel users can be really cruel, especially with celebrities who used to be pretty big in terms of popularity back in the day.

maaya 7th April 2018 10:08 PM

The netizens are too cruel to her, for me as long as she healthy I'm happy.

AyUmIXx 8th April 2018 08:53 AM

i don't worry about her body, because she is able to maintain it so well, sometimes she'll be chubbier a bit, sometimes she'll be back to normal again.. i guess there's nothing to worry about.

ayumi_croatia 8th April 2018 11:45 AM

With her hearing and knee problems, the fact that people worry about her weight shows that they have their priorities effed up.

Sky High 8th April 2018 01:52 PM

I guess, everybody will see what they want to see. Sometimes it is hard to distinct person from product.

rikku1994 9th April 2018 09:58 AM

Gurl ain't obese or something, like it is natural for someone her age to gain a little weight, and girl has been gaining weight and losing weight over the years, I'd rather see Ayu a little bloated than her A SUMMER BEST ero cause she looks too thin. I can't say if she's healthier now cause she has always been plagued with health issues. But in terms on how she looks, she looks fine imo

chocopockymaster 9th April 2018 02:03 PM

I wonder if she's on some sort of steroid for her knee. It wouldn't be unusual for something like that to cause the kind of puffiness she randomly seems to have going on in the face.

Next_Level29 9th April 2018 02:30 PM

this makes ayu more human, more close. whatever she does, somebody is there critizing her. But sometimes, she needs to let it all out. i truely understand her. Her message is great by itself. with that being said, Ayu, I cant wait to watch your upcoming shows!

Majutsu 20th April 2018 07:07 AM

Late to the party here I know but

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???

This is not cool. Who do people think they are that they can be so judgmental toward Ayu, or anyone else for that matter?

I know I'm one of those Ayu fans who believes (at least 99% of the time) that Ayu can do no wrong and always jumps quickly to defend her, but reading this... I'm genuinely angry right now. This world is so shallow. There's nothing wrong with her appearance and never has been in my opinion; she's beautiful! But that's not really the point. When I think about how much of herself Ayu has given to her fans, even to the point that it affects her physical health (her hearing loss, her bad knee, her struggling vocal chords, her fractured hand... I know there's more examples but I'm just ranting right now), how much she still wants to give, how much she loves all of her fans, only to be repeatedly confronted by the cruel things that have been written about her and said about her over the years, I can feel my blood start to boil. None of this is appropriate. None of it's important. Ayu is still Ayu-- exactly.

Okay rant over. Sorry about that.

This is exactly what I've been thinking. Her knee is damaged, she loosing hearing on her right ear - it would be plausible to think she's on some sort of medication to ease the pain.

Really, Ayu will be 40 this year. Who knows what changes are going on in her body?
This is what makes me crazy. People complain when a celeb got surgery or got photoshopped, then complain when someone is natural. All those "Look how celeb looks without make-up" articles are just stupid. Of course they'll look more tired etc. without make-up.

I'd like to see photos of all those who bash known people so easily. Let's show us how pretty and well-built you are. :rolleyes
