Looking for America is absolutely beautiful. So short and simple, yet so powerful. :weep

I got a strong feeling that Lana will drop us the theme song of Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil soon 😈

Hi guys! Sorry that I wasn't really around much. Due to work-stress and my vacation in Indonesia I really had no time to keep updating. Thank you everybody for keeping the thread alive! I certainly heard the news about the new album and will update the first post!

Also, Looking For America is beautiful! I am not so keen on Season of the Witch though, pretty boring imo. Andddd I found it funny that eventually she kept Doin' Time for the album. She said it was not gonna be on the album, and yet... there it is. I can't wait for the new album!

I am going to see her in Amsterdam in February. It's going to be my third time seeing her live, but I do anything to see her. Tickets were more expensive than last two times (around 70 euros. The last show was 45. Her first, I paid probably 30 euros). Also, it feels like a fanclub tour, because the tickets are printed on name. Meaning, can't sell it if I can't go. People in my country are a bit outraged by that. Anyone else seeing her in 2020?

^ Please allow me to say to you 📣 “I’m so envy you can see her!” 🥳😇

Lana Del Rey - Your Girl (Unreleased Song)

Quote:

Background

The song was recorded during December 2013, in the same sessions as "I Can Fly", "Yes to Heaven", "Shades of Cool", "Is This Happiness", "Fine China" and "Sad Girl", for Ultraviolence. However, the track was ultimately cut from the final tracklist when the album was reworked with Dan Auerbach.

Three snippets, including snippets of stems of the track, leaked on August 15, 2016. The full instrumental lacking a drum stem leaked on January 28, 2017, followed by another snippet on March 21, 2017. A full version of the track with vocals, but slightly edited, leaked on April 18, 2017.

Lana Del Rey reveals new album White Hot Forever will be released in 2020

Quote:

Straight off the back of her latest album, Norman F***ing Rockwell, Lana Del Rey has announced she has another record coming out in 2020.

“I’ve already written parts of it,” the artist told The Times. “It’s called White Hot Forever. I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months.”

I also found some news that she will be releasing a song for the movie Alice Adventures In Wonderland. The movie will be about the relationship between Lewis Carroll (writer) and the original Alice. Unfortunately, I have no idea when the movie will be out. But since she is also working on White Hot Forever, and is about to release the Charlies Angels' collab, I expect we could hear soon from the Alice song.

NFR is amazing. Every single Lana album has always taken close to a year or more to grow on me. This was an instant hit. So proud to hear that the critics are liking it as well.

NFR! her best album since Paradise!!!

Pitchfork gives Lana Del Rey's Norman Fucking Rockwell a 9.4

Critics are calling it her "masterpiece" and her best album yet. That's awesome! It's definitely my favorite alongside Ultraviolence and Honeymoon. Bought my tickets to see her at Jones Beach in NY. It'll be my first time seeing her live!

Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey have all teamed up to record a track — rumored to be called “Don’t Call Me Angel” — for the movie’s soundtrack.

I admit I didn’t hear much... maybe is Lana saying “we in it together, you can call me angel” at around 0:33
