Omg Ayu needs to work with bounceback again. XD I love this! I will definitely be following Kalen's future releases.

I love bounceback, it’s a shame Ayu doesn’t work with them anymore.

But maybe Kalen will be their muse much like Alan was the muse for that one composure (can’t remember his name, he did a whole bunch of iconic Ayu songs).


The “past is future” approach is really strong right now with Japanese youth. (And youth in general) — I heard it’s called futuro? Future retro? Lol

Also, there's a short video on her Instagram with an instrumental in the background. I assume it's a new song? It would make sense since her first single was used to promote the first part of the MAC campaign. It sounds good~ :heart

She is going to release a new digital single soon. There seems to be No official date in her website it just announced as "coming soon"

She also released a new short video on youtube


The video ís interesting, now let's see how her new Song will sounds like

I hope she releases an actual album eventually. I really like her voice and the material. Do we know who is directing her PVs? Whoever it is has some real skill.

It's a bit of a throwaway, sounds like a tie-in song for some anime. But I'm happy with it. The video is so awesome. A little too similar to her first, but I love the aesthetic.

I kind of wish she'd do a song where her singing is less nasal, but I've fallen in love with this. It's just sooooooooooooooo necessary for J-Pop right now.

I think the new song and video is too similar to the previous work. They both feel less memorable to me. But they are still enjoyable. I still am loving the previous song.:tipsy

I like her first song better. This new is not bad but there is something missing imo.
The pv on the other hand is on the same level as her debut.
