evolution - Asia Tour 2007 ver. ourselves - Just the beginning ver. And I can die happy X) they would actually convince me to buy a new Best! |
I think that's very unlikely, covering lots of her own songs. A couple maybe, but I wouldn't put my coins on that. Probably this version will get a digital release and later will be featured as a chinese press bonus track of her next release.

^I think this is most likely the plan.:yes

I never cared for that song, like AT ALL. But seriously, its composition and arrangement is so boring and bland, it makes me sleepy at best.

I must be something in the lyrics but musically the song is so bland and safe. |

However, I do love the lyrics. |
my desire for this?
that this inspire her, even now she is a mom, for doing new music PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LORD |
i can't find any reason for her to do this apart from some plans to visit a Chinese-speaking country.
|
Curious to hear her voice. That's about it. *yawn*

"Who..." chinese ver is partly in 'ASIA TOUR 08' and fully in 'A COMPLETE' asia ver.
who knows, she might kick off ASIA TOUR again but her "ASIA" always so small (japan shanghai hk and taipei LOL). im hoping something like 'A COMPLETE 2.0' or 'A BEST 3', not the audio im excited, but she have PLENTY live dvd/bd can include inside (yes im still craving for cdl1617, kanariya to be more specific). |
My All 10th anniversary version
|
My All will forever have a special place in my heart—we sang it to Ayu when we met her in LA during the recording of Love Songs, and she told me I had a nice voice lol. Life goal complete.
It’s one of those memories that stays with you, you know? |

or you know, just release something and add two "Anniversary" versions of her old songs like in Mirrorcle World and Days / GREEN. (hell, even these songs could have their own Anniversary versions now!) Quote:

I just want her to release a new single or album. It's been 3.5 years since MIJ. I'd just like to see her stop touring for a few months, hole up in a studio, and give us at least one final album. The best of the best. No corny la la la songs or para-para jingles. Something with the layers and investment we got from I am... That's what I want. A few more ballads, some good rock songs, a sequel for "Connected". Give us the 8 PVs one last time. Throw one last $2 million budget on a music video. And then I'll let her go.
|
I'm curious - how *is* her Chinese? There's no way I could tell whether her Chinese might sound natural or not. Can she speak it, or would she have learned the lyrics phonetically?
Is it common for Japanese people to be "well-versed" in Chinese and vice-versa...or is it more like myself, as an English speaker in North America, trying to learn either language...? |
You could check out her Chinese version of Who... It seems that many only understood the lyrics while reading them (and that she definitely has a Japanese accent) but they applauded her for trying her best. As far as I'm concerned, ayu doesn't speak Chinese except knowing a few words/phrases at most.
