Yay so happy these PVs are being uploaded!

I#ve never been a fan pre-LIFE for most of the stuff and these MVs are mostly tacky af (even for the times standards) and most of the songs are still pretty boring. Out of the Videos above I only like RESISTANCE as a song, but that video is boring and also pretty tacky.

Oh my god I've never seen RESISTANCE PV, the street scene reminds me of Namie's break the rules photoshoot which I love

Maybe with the quarantine I'll dig into her videos and might find some nice songs because I don't know most of her discography

Some of Mika's old songs are still some of her best works up to now & her 1st proper BEST album is a great release to (re)discover her old works

BEST was also the 1st few JPop CDs I bought when I started listening to JPop

And the PV making of footages uploaded on YouTube so far are probably the same ones included in Mika's FILM LOTUS video releases . That I'm not sure cos I don't own any of them :s

^maybe it's that strange church sound (tbqh I don't even know what it is) but i really only like 2 o 3 songs on BEST.

Actually I just looked it up. 5, the rest put me to sleep and are unbearable to sit through for me. Funny enough, everything after YES I love.

Baidu is reporting that she's going to release a new album called JOKER in 2 versions September 2nd.
According to them it was originally planned for June, but postponed because of Covid.

Title sounds interesting.

Go give it to us Queen. Can’t wait. Hope it’s better than the last one, we can expect more new tracks since we don’t have as many singles right?

we have 6 songs coming from three singles/one digital single

Hard to say cos Mika's studio albums all the while don't tend to include a lot of new album material , same with Hirai Ken

But I agree that if a new studio album is coming , it at last should be better than TOUGH
