y2687 18th August 2004 11:27 PM

Name it after Eve's sn, The Insane Llama Cows :cool

PickleCookies 19th August 2004 12:03 AM

It only is comprised of Sven. Not multiple people. So a plural name wouldn't make sense.

LOL Nevermind, I wanna change my vote to "Canada Offers Its Lakes To The Gods"!! Well maybe I only like it cause it has Canada in it but it's catchy!!

How 'bout Uzumaki? It means "spiral"... based on an awesome manga and not-so-great-but-kinda-campy movie based on the manga.

Cool... i used to be really into Noise so let me know how your project works out. I've been out of the loop for awhile but I used to dig Merzbow (the best), MASONNA, Government Alpha, Coil (the noisy stuff), Winterkalte, Throbbing Gristle, Matmos, etc. The last noise-type CDs i bought were at a Needle Sharing show... Larvae, Xenonics K-30 and Needle Sharing.

y2687 19th August 2004 01:37 AM

Who said it was only one person?

jerms 19th August 2004 03:04 AM

Hubba. You rule. I'll see into uploading something pretty soon.

As for Uzumaki, I've heard about both the movie and manga (well, I'm eh, downloading the manga, yeah, that's bad, but I consider buying it, and I've been looking for that movie for some time, too, since I love Asian horror n gore), and the name indeed sounds cool. I'll take it into the consideration. In the meanwhile, right now I've changed the folder with my noise stuff into 'Canada (...) Gods', a name I really fancy. Sounds more like a name for a band that sounds like Godspeed You Black Emperor! or Explosions In The Sky, but still.

And how my project is going, well I, uh, 'released' four albums so far. That means recording some noise, burning it onto CD and giving some of my friends some copies. When I listen to those now, most of 'em are pretty bad; just a lot of loops, some random rumbling, and a lot of beeps and glitches all throughout the songs. I also made this double-album for which I made two tracks, then delayed them like 40 times to sound like lo-fi rumbling that causes headaches. I used that one for an artwork I did for school. I did some ambient stuff too, which, on the one hand, is quite fancy, but the volumes for each track differ, and some have too many high-pitched sounds to be ambient. I released those old CDs as 'All Collapsed', their titles are: "Untitled Mhuzik", "Red Concrete", "Groundwater" and "1970". The ambient one is called "Salt" and I released it as 'This Origami Dream'. Right now my noise sounds much better, imho, it's chaos + distortion + aaargh.

I love Merzbow too, by the way. That man is just brilliant. I think C0ck ESP is pretty great, too; just as Masonna (no doubt about that), Government Alpha, Niku-Dorei, Niku-Zidousha, Grey Wolves (although I think they're kinda, well, dubious to say the least) etcetera.

That link isn't loving me.

Seems I'm too late.. I really dug And So To Bedlam, though. Just so you know.

sxesven 22nd August 2004 11:10 AM

It's not working for you? Strange. It's still up.

Rainmaker 24th August 2004 04:34 AM

Well, I got it to work.
And that is some quality noise.

I still like And So To Bedlam.

Domo arigatou :yes

Furthermore, I still like that name too. It's still in the race though, since this one is not definite.

fantaisie.sign 25th August 2004 03:42 AM

Chicken Pot Pie sounds nice. :yes Hehe.
