carols huh? well i'm not gonna say anything about it either way x_x seems like sometimes everyone goes against a rumor and than it turns out to be true lol. so i'll just sit back and see.

This seems like a rumour ... only cause I don't thiink that Ayu would release a single in DVD-audio...or Avex would put out a SACD (the market's MUCH smaller) and, as Jose said, CAROLS is more of a wintery theme (ala No Way To Say)...which would put it at a later release date!

I just put that catalogue number into google japan, and I come up with a Japanese BBS with a rumour of another Ayu cd. So that catalogue number has been used before in another rumour.

Apparently, a CD called ' A Summer Songs' was supposed to be released like 2 weeks ago with that catalogue number :P

But I guess we will never know untill we get some more info. Who knows. There might be a new single.

No one should have to be asked to post sources.

If you get something from somewhere "fansites" is not a source, and the links should be posted with the info.

I'd say the best bet is to not believe it. Especially with that information.

I only put "fansites" because there was more than 1 site which I saw the same info from. If only 1 site had the news, I'd put "AyuChina lists this info", but none of these sites have listed anything else besides what was already posted. I'll be sure to put down a list of sites next time I post info, even if it's the same.

If what matt said earlier is true about the AVCD number, then this is already false because the number was used for another CD. Besides that, a name/release date for some new CDs are known up to 2-3 months prior to a release, although this is a bit early for any definitive info.

It doesn't appear to have been used for an actual release, just another rumour. This is the site that I got the info from (seeing as we're all into sources now). It was for another rumoured 'Best' album that never was.

But I dont know if this has happened before, but maybe the catalogue number may be correct for something up-and-coming, just the CD information is wrong. Again, who knows untill something more concrete appears.

TeamAyu reopens for staff updates and such from today so I will keep a look out.
