Well, it is plagiarism. Aren't our English teachers in school always telling us to cite our sources, ESPECIALLY the ideas, since ideas must be cited too, and most people don't realize this?

Well, it's not a very good example for us to see ideas for PVs plagiarized when we are not encouraged to follow that trend.

Yes, Fighter has a meaning, but it's not what I think Ourselves is about. And I don't see so many similarities, just a big green dress [ but they're very different anyway ]

The Endless Sorrow PV contains some pretty generic themes. I don't see how you guys can be so authoritative in your "yeah, he's copying Ayu" replies when most (none?) of you have seen this other guy's video. If it is identical, maybe he's parodying Ayu's video.

Anyway, this whole "copying Ayu" thing really doesn't make much sense. If you know enough about any given artist you'll be able to find similarities between theirs and other people's work.

I'd throw this one into the can. The guy already admited he borrowed some ideas.

They love bashing, but no one can say a negative word about Ayu or everyone freaks out.

I think its amusing how everyone always jumps aboard and bashes other artists who have any similarity to what Ayu has done, but they just can't admit that Ayu borrows ideas too. Ourselves and Fighter may not have the same meaning in the song or in the PV but if you watch them both, they are extremely similar in appearance. I know Xtina doesn't have masked people or whatever, but I really don't understand how anyone can say they aren't very similar, especially whenever we have no problem saying that Jolin copied just because there are some sparks in the background like in Hanabi Ep II.

Or how about the cover of Carols. I reaaaally don't know how anyone could say Ayu didn't copy that idea. It's straight from Celine Dion. It's so simiar that I saw a commercial for it the other day and swore for a second it had to be for Ayu instead.

I guess all I'm saying is that it's naive to not recognize that Ayumi too, borrows ideas from others. And NO, I'm not some sort of Ayu-basher, as I adore her as much as the next person if not more.
