OMG, thank you so much for posting that. I was seriously freaked out to think that Ayu could have made *more* money in 2003 with "&", "Forgiveness", "Now Way to Say", and "Memorial Address", then she did this year. Plus, in 2003 she only put on one concert tour, where as in 2004 she put on two. I read some where that Avex generally looses more money with her concert tours then it gains (but that might have been a mistaken article)

*phew* With how incredibly GOOD "My Story" was compared to "Memorial Address" over all, I was horrified to think that she made at least a million dollars more with the latter.

Oh, and why has Ayu's profit decreased so greatly since 2001? Is it since that was her hay-day? Or has the world's economy drop effected even her?

actually, there are not only CM is counted, the live tour is also a source of income that included in that 3 million(but i think CM is the main income).

The figure quoted in the first post is correct. I think what yamogi means is that Ayu would have earned more money in 2004 if she had released an album. As it is, she only released 3 singles in 2004: Moments, INSPIRE, & CAROLS. MY STORY came out on December 15 so the income from that will appear in her 2005 earnings.

The major source of her income, even in years when she was releasing more CDs, is product endorsements.
