Either way is fine.
The only reason why they put "original mix" is because in singles u'll be expected to see some mixes of the song so they put "original mix" so that u'll know which is the original version of the song. And the reason why they nv indicate "original mix" is of cos very simple... U cant expect them to indicate on every song that it's original right? |
orangeland: I didn't even think of that DAI cd... Still, thinking of it... that's the only time i've heard "B-side" used on anything officially released, i think... there might be more but i can't think of them. o_O In any case, thanks for backing me up. I've been watching jpop releases for 5 years and I don't see the term b-side very often.
greggerz: where did you see the obi? I can believe that the title is fairyland c/w alterna if that's what it says on the obi. |
i have the CD and CD+DVD versions, the OBIs only say 'fairyland' ... I can see where you are confused, because on the front part of the OBI (not the spine) it does say 'fairyland c/w alterna' ... and of course to add to the confusion, the DISC itself does read 'fairyland c/w alterna' ... jeez, and the cover just says fairyland. But for all cataloguing purposes the spine is regarded as the end-all for official titles - and the spine simply says fairyland.
further more, there are only about 3 ayu singles that i do not own at this point, and nothing is EVER offically credited with "c/w..." (on the spine, that is) and deli, i'm going to be checking up on that b-side reference ... i know we've had this tuff before. oh yes, that was over the term "A-Side" ... the "Shine We Are!" single from BoA actually credited itself as a double a-side, while we all know Earthsong kindof vanished into obscurity shortly thereafter. (why did i just go into that?) I guess sometimes we forget that the japanese are using a language that they're not native to for almost all of their releases ¬¬*it adds confusion to native english speakers who can notice discrepancies so easily. and as far any ayumi anything goes, statements made by myself or deli should be regarded as canon ... don't you guys know that by now? |
