and utada popularity isn't that good right now
and i agree that avex has done that action..when ayu release her best album and utada with deep river (if i didn't wrong) its a classic battle between ayu and utada.haha..

well hikki's singles' sales were always good except the last one (Dareka). Aside from last year her singles were always in yearly top 5. The question is that no one really knows how well hikki can do since she hasn't released any japanese songs for over 1.5 yrs. It really depends on what kinda material she's releasing on the 28th. Personally I really hope that ayu will not release HEAVEN on the same day, cuz I love both of them and dun wanna see any battle again.

Btw, the classic battle between ayu and hikki was A BEST vs. Distance... :mischief

avex could do another stupid move to see/proof who is still the queen of jpop
by doing so they'll push the single out as the same time when hikki release her first jpop single since dareka and both are singing for movies too

This time "Be My Last" has been announced for at least three weeks and avex hasn't done anything yet. it's a good sign at this moment :thumbsup

Actually, I think that there will be a single, but the OST won't include "HEAVEN"...It will probably be an "Original Score" album (i.e. instrumental). I don't think Avex, being the sales-obsessed company that they are, will make such a mistake as to have Ayu's single sales significantly affected by the fact that the song had already been released to the public.
