Singer Amuro Namie(27) [picture] will present to the public on October 1st the Japanese version of the opening song to the American film Sin City, announced by the movie's distrubution company.

This fall's new release "Violet Sauce" will be an upbeat tempo song about the world's view on violence and love. In the later part of June, Amuro became interested in the movie, and made an offer expressing she wanted to sing the opening song. The company decided Amuro would fit the movie's sexy and cool image, and Amuro's first Western opening song was decided upon.

Rodriguez, the director who heard the song, felt that the song is well matched with the movie's world outlook. "Wonderful. Even I can get into this song." With that, he expressed his burning desire to participate in the song. With the voice of the director of "Welcome to Sin City" giving the green light, his collaboration was decided upon.

"The shock I received from the movie is the inspiration with which I sang. Within a film about violence, the heart is struck by an almost too earnest pure love story. I am thankful to be given, with music, the chance to be able to express the movie's outlook on the world," commented Amuro. From the 17th on, the CM will be aired.

I'm kind of mad about this. First someone told me that she wasn't doing the song, and then someone told me she was. Then I heard that a new cm of hers would have the song, and now people are saying it doesn't. Please tell me if these are true.

She sounds super sexy when she's singing Violet Sauce. I can feel that song, can't wait till the whole song get's out either. Hopefully the pv for it will be good too.
