Well it has been awhile since I've posted at AHS. But what a better way of starting back then a new Miliyah single^_^ Actually over at JPM we've been discussing it for awhile but for those who don't know Miliyah is releasing her 6th single "Last Summer" on July 19. It is a summery pop/r&b tune. The video was aired a few days ago and can be found on Youtube.

I'm a fan of Miliyah's. I think she has a good message in the majority of her videos, especially "Lonely Girl".

"Last Summer" wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be, but it is better then some of her other urban tracks. I want something more refreshing like "Lonely Girl".

Lastly I love how she emphasizes individual and inner beauty in young girls and it doesn't come over as totally feminist either. But it's nice to see her doing pretty well in the Japanese music scene.

I love Mili.^So tru alot of her songs are very empowering. I finally listened to STAR a few weeks ago. I don't really like the song but I can really relate to the lyrics.

First, Miliyah released a song called "My Soul" on the new Death Note soundtrack. It's an upbeat pop/R&B song. I was able to get it thanks to kodakumi @ JPM. Hope U all enjoy it. DOWNLOAD "My Soul"

Second, Miliyah Kato's first single of 2007 will be entitled "Eyes on you". The song will be used as the theme song to "Bubble e Go!! Time Machine wa Drum Shiki" and expected to be a catchy Valentine's day tune. A B-side is also expected.

Third, it was not annouced here but Miliyah released her 7th single "I Will" back in September. It was a ballad used for the movie "Otoshimono".

According to fan-net Miliyah's 1st album will be out on March 7th. The title is "Diamond Princess".

Ah, Miliyah! I haven't heard her in forever...it's so hard to find her music it seems. I love Sotsugyou...and it has an amazing PV.

I heard "My Soul" yesterday on the DEATH NOTE Last Name Tribute Album and I really liked it - my first Miliyah song
