Well congrats to Ayu. This is quite a feat for her. Being popular after 26 singles is amazing and only a really popular diva can achieve this. I'm really glad for Ayu and hope she will be able to break more records in the future.

i doubt they have a category for most no. 1 singles by a female japanese artist. of course, i really have no idea exactly what categories are in the guiness book of records. :shrug
