A ViVi DejidejiDiary showed Ayu in an airport among other places... And she was wearing the same glasses and stuff as in the PV.. so.. yeah.. xD

I think it was America. It has to be. The only Asain people in the whole think were ayu and her dancers!! And it looks to authentic to all just be props. And if it is just props then they did a really good job but I don't think it is.

Does Japan have palm trees?

Those scenes that the people were used in though were insert shots - they could have easily filmed that opening scene in Japan and the rest of the video somewhere else. But yeah, we will find out when the making of comes out.

Dunno... Probably there is... The restaurant is quite common i guess.. And others are just quite common in Japan... but palm trees? I dunno about that...

Lol, sure it does! Just check the map and see which longitudes/latitudes Japan spans over. Okinawa for example is I think a bit like California.

She could film it in Hawaii as well, becouse there are English writings on the posters on the racetrack... 0.0

Well if she went to Dubai, she didnt film the last scenes of BLUE BIRD there... (The ones with lots of green hills) Cause Dubai does not have that kind of nature...

nono, I don't think so. They looked completly real to me, the sunlight artefact on the lense... Greenscreen would mean additional arrangements and they'd have to shoot it in a studio most probably...

I'm actually quite sure it is after having watched some documentaries about the technique, but ofcourse it might not be. I'm still waiting for the making of, just speculating :D.

I'm basing my theory on how she looks on the background of the sky. I'm sure it's 100% natural lighting on her, which would indicate if they did any greenscreen shooting, they had to do it outside. Looking at the rocky edge, I don't think they could bother hanging green sheets all around it [extreme "botherment"], then send the tapes for CG post-production to paste image so detailed it looks real [additional expenses and it takes time].

But yeah, we'll know after seeing the making of's.

Right, I remember ppl mentioning it was an open call... I don't think they did open calls previously, but then again, they probably just ran out of caucasians in all the talent agencies. It's no wonder, since I bet not many non-Asians that come to Japan think "Oh, I should sign up to a talent agency so I can be an extra." at once, many people aren't aware of this sort of opportunity (Not me, I wanna go to Japan and do as an extra! :D)

But on the other hand, they could just cast people in Japan and them bring the over to wherever the PV was being filmed...

yeah, it was the u.s. cause i let ayu borrow my cars for the pv. i'm a nice guy like that.
