Good question, since in the most recent mag scans where she's pictured with her dogs, she's shown with Choco, Maron, and Purin and not the others.

There was an article saying that she brings her dogs while she goes to Music Station, Music Fighter, etc and they leave little "presents" backstage lol

That's most likely not a new dog, it was probably one she got on loan whilst in New York, because she wasn't able to bring her own dogs with her. It takes a lot to get a pet from one country to another, especially if the country has quarantine laws [animal can be in quarantine for 5 weeks to a few months depending on the law in a country], so it's not worth it really to go through all that [it can take months] just to take the dogs there for a couple of weeks. It was most likely a dog just on loan, because it takes the same requirements just to buy a dog in another country, so there's really no need to do that if you can just borrow one for a short time.

I know there's a huge pet business in NY city, and there are probably some places where someone like Ayu could loan a dog for a while. I saw a programme on Animal Planet about pet businesses, in Japan there are rental agencies for pets, for people who aren't allowed to keep pets in their buildings. It showed one couple who kept getting the same dog because they liked it so much. Pets are big business :yes



My post was about the dog in B&D side story, and explaining why it might not be, I never said she never got a new dog. You probably should have really quoted the original post, not mine.

i don't really know exactly how many dogs that ayu has..
the list that i made is the list of the dogs she has since she began her singing career so far..
for sure, marron, crea, purin and choco are the most-seen ayu's dogs in publics..
marron and crea are the special ones, i think..
