Hoshi no Nai Sekai / Yokogao got a NINKI rating of 91.40 and is second for the week of 08/22. I hope this single is as successful as Shiawase or even more. They're both top notch songs. And Hoshi no Nai Sekai's PV is the most complicated PV I've seen since BONNIE PINK's Water Me. :| [that is saying a lot. :P] It's really... touching and moving as well.

I hope her new single will sell better than Shiawase. GO FOR THE 100K+!!!! My fav out of the 2 a-sides is Yokogao. :)

I like Hoshi no Nai Sekai a bit more than Yokogao. Hoshi no Nai Sekai just screams out "MEANINGFUL. TOUCHING. SAYING SOMETHING." while Yokogao is a little Shiawase ~part II~. :P Though both songs are, like, in my top 12 of 2007. :|

This is technically a double post, but I have important news. Hoshi no Nai Sekai / Yokogao is #1 in today's Oricon daily chart! ^______^ The indicator is 16,388 x 1,75 = ~28679.
A nice first-day amount.
I'm really surprised that aiko managed to hold off Kuwata Keisuke. :O But who knows what will happen in the coming days.

I'm thinking Kuwata is more of a steady seller than aiko during the first week. UGH. I don't know what's going to happen but AIKO NEEDS TO BE #1 BECAUSE SHE... dare I say it... DESERVES it.

I'm sure you will like the A-side of her previous single, Shiawase, if you liked Yokogao. :) And that's actually everything I've heard from aiko. XD Um, I've heard that people like Star and Kirakira among others, though.

Sorry for double posting yet again, but this is important information! aiko's new single Hoshi no Nai Sekai / Yokogao reached the #2 spot in the Oricon weekly charts with sales of 76,405! In comparison, aiko's previous single, Shiawase, also debuted at the #2 spot, but with sales of about 70,000. Anyway, congratulations for yet another successful release! :D

^ aiko is the artist with the prettiest simple covers ever. Seriously. Any artist could try to make a simple cover, but they will always fail compared to aiko. Her face shots are always so impressive compared to, say, Ayu. And it's the perfect combination of simpleness + background scenery.

I hope she'll release another album soon!
