i want new album

I am... had very many different songs, but still managed to come through as a whole album. Same thing is true for RAINBOW, LOVEpperas and duty. I woulden't count MA because it was a min album, and ASFXX wasen't very varied musically.

YumeHamasaki's post made a lot of sense. THere's got to be certain general feel to the sogs that makes them connected. Variety is not a bad thing, as long as the songs sound like their from the same planet. (m) u was all over the place, the transitions were bad in many ways and it wasen't put very well together. Just like the cover it sounded a bit hastily done. Perhaps she needed another year of just remix albums or something like A BALLADS. Personally I would prefer more upbeat catchy stuff with an edge. No more than a couple of purer middle tempo rock songs, as they tend to be a bit repeteive if there are too many.

I don't care that much for the cover picture, and I diden't really think that MY STORY was very good either (skanky too much blush on beside the bed? It reminded me of a slightly better version ogthe STEP you cover which was horrid.) And I agree, no monkey smiling. For some reason I woulden't be surprised if PECO inspired these works of "art", especially the STEP you look reminds me of her. I do believe that this cover will be better though.

Well, I think that Leslie was probably busy during the photoshoots for (m)u.. doing his SUPERSTARS magazine..


Timeframe... October/November => B&D / (m)u / Startin' recordings occur and wrap up; all album materials are DONE.. [maybe not PVs.]

December - February => Photos are taken for Startin' using Leslie as well as for CDL05-06..

So.. yeah.. It was all pretty quickly done. If only Leslie was available..

Hey! I'm one of those weirdos, lol. I didn't really enjoy (m)u as much as MY STORY. MY STORY is my fav. album by her to date so I don't see why critcs might have bashed it when it was released. I love it!

I am hoping for a mix of styles.If no mix of styles then i would love pop.

I think that maybe people are expecting a new album a little too much. By around June of last year, we had confirmation from Max Matsuura that a new album would be out by the end of the year. This year, we don't even know when her next single will be out. In terms of Ayu releases, this year seems different and it wouldn't suprise me if a new album didn't come out until sometime next year. Maybe we will be seeing another Best album first. (You know that Avex has just got to be dying wanting to release one.)

with only so little singles out .. it might be like another My Story type of album with a load of new songs

During the MY STORY era it was just four songs! From four to seventeen.. o___o

"MY STORY" was amazing, it had great flow and it was released incredibly fast with a HUGE amount of new material.

This album/year/era seems extremely strange to me as well, things have been extremely slow and the songs seem to be all over the place in terms of a theme or "sound". Hmm maybe Ayu is just lost as to what direction she wants to take her album/image and music. She could possibly do a mini-album for December but for some reason I don't think her album would turn out too strong.

However, now that I think about it! It really reminds me of the "Memorial address" era, where we were sort of having a dry spell in terms of new material. She had "&" with its 4 tracks which I guess could be like 2 singles if they were split like "Startin'/Born To Be..." & "BLUE BIRD".

Hmm and then we have two POSSIBLE album previews:

1LOVE and JEWEL, which were both Panasonic tie-ins like Memorial address' preview album tracks: ANGEL'S SONG and Because Of You.

SO! In sum this could be "Memorial address" all over again... but just not as successful lol. UNLESS she can get her creativity to new a high and put out another masterpiece like "Memorial address ~take 2 version" and "forgiveness".

I just want to see more of CREA, rocks songs and studio lives :).

Her last three albums is the ones I like the best, so I have pretty high expectations on the coming one.

Except add some upbeat stuff that is sweeter than sugar concentrated into a supersaturated syrup <3 <3

No offense but I would hate that. And that's a minialbum, which would suck even more. Where's Beautiful Fighters? XD Of course she's going to add all the songs she's already made into the album! Remember Will?

But you gave the album an awesome name. I'd love to see that name as an album name!

Haha... I wouldn't mind another ANGEL'S SONG, BLUE BIRD was pretty up there, but it didn't make it to the level of ANGEL'S or HONEY.

I even don't care when album will be out, even let it be out not in this year
this would be a better condition for it's sake and quality
the most important things would be HQ music, HQ lyrics and nice song titles

and surely I wish it would have good photosession
having a photobook would be nice, bu only ig photobookz concept is really interesting

I honestly want her to release one more single (JEWEL/1LOVE ?), then just go right into the album. Last year didn't have enough album songs to motivate people to buy it. I mean, the photobook was nice, but people want the actual music, not a compensation for the lack of it.

Then if this one is around 16/17, with a usual 2/3 instrumentals, we'd get AT LEAST 8 album songs. A REALLY good surprise. and opportunities for album PVs.

Yeah.. Definetly! Memorial address is a mini album and it had all singles + 3 more songs (ANGEL`S SONG, theme of a-nation, Memorial address). I want her new album!! <3
