my friend/penpal Michiko is her husbands second wife.. he and his first are.. well obviously divorced.. I don't know many details about it tho.. and I'm not sure how often people in japan get divorced.. but certinally not as much as people here in america do!

Your not really understanding how it works in Japan. No member of Johnny's is encouraged to get into long term relationships and especially not to marry someone. It was a big scandal when Takuya Kimura of SMAP got married but luckily for them it turned out alright. Still though, just as it is in H!P, it's like an unwritten rule in Johnny's that serious relationships are not to take place and if they do you keep them hidden. It is definitely at least part of the reason why they haven't gotten married yet.

Also, I don't see why everyone is saying Tomoya's dad is such a nice guy? So nice that he was bought off by a reporter when it is obvious that Ayu and Tomoya don't want their relationship in the press.
