Perhaps. I don't know the details, but she was very 'better-than-you' to workers at stores and stuff.

She seemed to act nice to those "fans" in the Bold & Delicious PV O_O

You know, that's really damn rude if you go around acting like that to store workers at such. Sure she may be annoyed if she were working, but she obviously isn't if she's shopping. Of course, we don't even know if that's really her character, but celebrities in general have to respect that these people really admire them and acting rude to them is really going to hurt them.

It's really a moral thing, but frankly, it's hard to believe that some celebs have any. Ayu herself said she never wants to meet Madonna in person because she doesn't want her image of her to be tainted. Maybe because she knows that everything we see in the media is staged.

Were there really fans in the B&D PV? Maybe those were people working with her on the PV. :|

There goes my dream of running into Ayu in Miami. :(

I agree with you entirely. It's somewhat difficult to hear TH's story considering the fact that I've always pictured her to be kind to everyone that she meets. But that's probably asking too much, as many celebrities naturally tend to become tired of constant public attention. I know that if I ever met Ayu and she were to yell at me or act snooty, I would honestly cry. It would just shatter her image for me and I'm sure that's how many fans of celebrities feel if they are ever treated poorly by those that they truly admire.

There's a member at AHS, Takano Fukada, who walked up to Ayu at a hotel in Singapore (IIRC) and got two autographs from her.

I am a bit sceptical about truehappiness claiming that Ayu treats everyone badly. Firstly, it's not his own experience, but second or third hand info. Secondly, we don't know the whole story. Maybe his friend of a friend of a friend was being super annoying, or maybe they are a super-sensitive person who gets offended over nothing.

I don't think anyone at AHS is in a position to say conclusively what Ayumi Hamasaki is like when she isn't on public display.

I'm pretty sure that the "fans" in the B&D PV were part of the crew. Additionally, most "normal" people act differently when in the presence of a camera crew (think of when you see crowds of people behind a reporter).

I can't recall Ayumi specifically mentioning fans outside of Asia. I doubt she acknowledges them as much as Morning Musume or Gackt or Laruku, though.

After all, one incident doesn't really make much of a generalization.

Well said, skal.

I guess so.

Maybe she was just in a bad mood / tired on those days in Hawaii. I wonder if any of the members of AHS in Hawaii have heard stories as well?

About the friend: I don't think it was so much interaction with Ayu, since they were sort of just 'on the set' and got to see her. She said that Ayu was amazingly beautiful like 'O___________O!', but even though she was pretty, she wasn't that polite to her friends that worked in that mall that Ayu went to [the one in on my way when the bodyguard is carrying her and they both have Starbucks]... that's just what she said to me. It was something that she stressed that I called absurd at first listen :p So I wasn't exactly accepting of the story either..

I do think Ayu might be nice in real life, but I'd rather not take the chance of having a bad experience that might ruin my views on Ayu..

edit: here's the page of the person that met Ayu:

I agree 100%. Well said.
Here we have some second or third hand evidence from god know's who, and a story that anyone could make up.. as opposed to one with a newspaper article, two autographs, and the name of the person who actually did it. Which one am I gonna believe? #2.
