Choyan 27th November 2006 05:52 AM

it's nice!!! really!!
it's similar to M in terms of how they place which part of song where, but momentum is a really nice individual song!

This song is purely amazing. It's as if nothing happened between the end of 2001 to 2006 for her to make this. (Reference to M) Also, I agree with everyone else, and how this is a mixture of SO many different songs. But this'll be a very interesting PV (from the looks of it, it looks like may be a continuation of "No way to say").

Also, as a tidbit, this is in both my fast and slow playlist. One of those weird songs you can't put in either/or (M, Destiny -Taiyou no Hana-)

FIRST LISTEN:
aww i like the chorus of this song! so cute! reminds me of the style of BLUEBIRD -- quiet verses then a bright and happy chorus

i'm interested to see the pv for this!

alternarist 27th November 2006 09:07 AM

momentum reminds me of Replace A LOT. it stars off with a chorus. i feel that this song is normal. nothing special.. haha perhaps after watching the PV, i will change my mind.

Surreal 27th November 2006 01:39 PM

Other than the singles, this is my favourite song on the album.

gogirlanime 27th November 2006 08:05 PM

I don't like it, but I don't hate it. I'm gonna call it a "filler" track. I will only listen to it when I forget to click my player to the next song on the album LOL.

This is a sweet song, and it reminds me of a happier version of "M." I'm not crazy over it, but it's special in its own right. I just wish it were a little more melancholic sounding, a bit sadder... And Samuel is right, it is like Kaze No Nai Umi De Dakishimete (did I get that right? LOL) by Rina Aiuchi

jeffycue 28th November 2006 11:00 AM

OMG! this is the song that totally rocked the album.. this sums up the whole album for me..

BEST ALBUM TRACK!!!

Love the chorus~ Really caught my attention. And on my mp3 there is no screen and I thought it was momentium and I guessed :D Yay me!

Inspirelova 28th November 2006 05:37 PM

I think Momentum is a beautiful song. I like it alot!

Mirai Noah 28th November 2006 07:00 PM

I just watched the PV, so this is my first time (and last time, until I get my copy of the album) that I've heard the song. Personally, I loooooove this song. A lot. It's simply awesome.

another sparkling beautiful song momentum is surely the soul of the whole album

Deep snow 30th November 2006 09:40 AM

so classic-sounding, as i say "classic" i mean so 90-s, it's like listening to old dream's song, like the one in Hikaru no Go soundtrack, aand yeah the beat makes it sounds like M so much, but i kinda like it...

Great song this was my most anticipated song coming into the album and i'm so happy to see this song didn't dissappoint, the back to back of JEWEL and momentum might be the best back to back songs in all of ayu's albums. I might be jumping the gun but momentum has a great chorus and its just the pop type song that i always love, can't really come up with specifics all i know is i love it.

Judging by only titles, this was the song I was most looking forward to and I have to say I wasn't disappointed, I even love this song more with each listen.
Having only heard a part of the chorus of M, there is a slight resemblance, that being the strong beat behind the chorus of momentum.

ayu_ready? 3rd December 2006 08:06 PM

momentum- is it just me, or I realli can hear fairyland? not my type, sorry
[I had HUGE hopes for the song cuz of title...how stupid :P]

emi♡ 4th December 2006 01:09 AM

momentum (let's wait until JEWEL is finished) :laugh

When the previews came out, I loved this song...When I asked martin which one's he liked the most, It was and momentum were at the bottom of the list...When the album leaked...Guess which one's he just loved....yeah...these...he's like "It was and momentum are awesome" and I was just thinking, "I told you..."

anyway, I love how this starts out, her lone vocals just push the feeling on you, and the opening music, intensifies it.

I love the background music, I swear, I've never loved background music so much...but in this album, it fits so well with her vocals. So many different things. Great.

Here's the chorus, and it reminds me of...I think...Free and Easy, yet, it doesn't have the same dark feeling of that song, simply in the musicality they resemble each other.

It's hard for me, when listening to this song, to determine if it's sad or hopeful, or what. I mean, when you watch the PV, it's so incredibly sad, but listening to the song just gives a mixture of emotions, and I mean the music doen't help much to distinguish what from what, and I think, that I, while I love the distinctiveness of the rock songs, momentum is just special.

There's something about it, it has a feel. To me, it's just so incredibly Ayu...like...It has her name, her image, her style just scribbled all over it. I love it.

Hey... momentum is still among the bottom of the album tracks for me, but it's still an awesome track :laugh.
