Her eyes were already big/roundish to begin with..So if she supposedly did have surgery, it would look big. But this kind of thing is a common thing now a days.
No need to make a big deal out of it. :/

well there have been many sides to this thread,they are scary,they are pretty,and other ones,but im going to go with beautiful.i think its hard to not notice that Ayumi has large eyes,but i think her eyes r cute and pretty,it makes her face look beautiful :D and they make u fall in love with her instantly :P. of course most people dont have that large of eyes, especially asians, but this is another special thing about Ayumi :)

her eyes are a real attraction and to their credit ayu and the people around her make it a point of emphasis to show off the eyes. I'm sure there is a lot of work put into making them look so nice, but we can't argue with the finished product.

I've never thought they are that enormous. They are big, but not too big or sumthin'.. not unnormally huge.. imo.. :D In some pictures they look very huge though.. Dunno what they looks like live, though. Very beautiful eyes she has, I say.

I just think they are rounder than the "average" japanese. "Huge eyes" can't be made by surgery (if science ever manage to make peoples eyeballs grow bigger... -_-), but it may make them look more awake. She always had big eyes though, and, just like the rest of us, they looked even bigger on her when she was younger. O.o It makes her look really cute IMO. Even her mother has somewhat the same shape of her eyes.

but the shape of her eyes aren't that freakishly ugly. it's quite nice and perfect IMO. i've seen others with huge eyes that are down right ugly.

I think it's very rude to talk about someone in such a way, like calling her freakish and such, making fun of someones appearence isn't acceptable even if they are famous.

I for one think she has beautiful eyes and they're not at all 'freakish' or 'weird'.

Yeah Ayu's got huge eyes but I don't think they look freakish they look like they type of eyes people would have if they weren't Asian. Even though not all Asian people have slanted eyes. But Ayu looks normal with them to me. besides it kinda seems like you want a lot of people to go along with you and Say she looks freakish .its kinda of a pointless thread since all AYu fans know her eyes are not the stereotyped slant style.....

Most magazines slightly photoshop idols to make their eyes look bigger, so with already built-in big eyes it just looks larger.
