"I'm so happy that I could collaborate with Kitty, which I have loved since I was little," the singer said in a statement, describing the feline character as "a fabulous being that is loved by many women regardless their age and nationality."

By the way, is Hello Kitty big in Japan? This tie-in is so reminiscent of "Dearest" being the ending theme of Inuyasha. Both of them are quite known figures of Japanese pop culture in the west. Uncanny, I say.
