the video was just amazing. like ... really really good. Everything about it - the scenary - the way she looks - the puppets - her tears. I'm impressed and just makes me even more excited for the next two PV's to come :yes

honestly, I love the moments the screen cracks but I wish the was less Ayu-on-bench scenes. the were moments I though "if I were her I couln't sing it so emotionally and still sit". I wish she would also go into the rain or sth like that but still 9,5/10 :]

I see it more as the guy gets out of the car, the driver is pissed for some reason. He watches the couple walk away, still pissed. Then he spots Ayu. He wonders why she's all alone...

Qt Mashi 10th December 2007 12:01 AM

i don't usually like crying parts, but the crying part for this one wasnt too much like her other ones, but the crying bit in the end looked weird when she kept looking at the camera and blinking her eyes

anywas i liked the PV! i felt sorry for the doll too~

and i thought Ayu was going to fall in love with the taxi guy xD

i think this PV was about Tomoya~

if you look under the downloads section there are a number of different uploads up already.

i love it, last few PVs have been kinda disappointing and fans in general were kinda disappointed by last years PVs and she delivers with yet another abstract music video that many will enjoy and try to figure out the meaning to for weeks to come

sora2522 10th December 2007 12:02 AM

two words.

PURE.TAY.

i wonder if this pv'll be connected to marionette somehow...
prolly not...

LEOyumi 10th December 2007 12:04 AM

Finally a good PV this year!
Gorgeous <333

Larisa-chan 10th December 2007 12:25 AM

This is my type of Ayu PV~ Although I was reminded of Rainy Day with the whole bench thing XD Haha.. it seems like what's going on in the marionette show is connected to what happens in real life to people. Or something.

ayumisrael 10th December 2007 12:32 AM

I love it, it's really good made and meaningful.
Can't wait for the 2 other PVs!

qwerty 10th December 2007 12:37 AM

The story is pretty sad. Simple but dramatic. :yes This is my interpretation:

Ayumi's sitting on a bench, reminiscing. She sees the puppets from across the street; these puppets represent Ayu and a past love. But the puppeteer sells the male puppet. This represents the male's having to had go somewhere. The female puppet is left alone, so Ayu is left alone and is heartbroken. Ayu remembers all this and sheds a tear, and the cab driver sees her and sympathizes for her.

The story fits well with the lyrics ("I wanted to tell you I loved you, I couldn't tell you I loved you," etc.). It's a story of separation, and the idea was executed quite well. I liked how Ayu made the PV her own by using a theme of puppets and marionette. :yes

:laugh I'm so glad I wasn't disappointed by this PV. The preview made it seem so cool, and it really was awesome. I agree that it's the best Ayu PV this year.

rikku411 10th December 2007 12:37 AM

I really like it. It was touching and the puppets and everything was really good. The story was great and fit the song and it was definitely the best PV of '07 from Ayu. I give 4/5! =]

It was well done and meaningful... poor Ayu doll.

I think that the doll falling and shattering symbolized the shattering of Ayu's love for whoever.

Although I don't completely understand her becoming a puppet, I think it means that by not saying anything, she's allowed herself to be controlled by what other people think. Idk haha, but it was a great PV.

I agree...when she cries and looks at the camera, it takes away the credibility....
Overall, I really enjoyed it. I actually replayed the video. (I never finished watching Talking to myself nor Decision video...always stopped midway) The setting was really nice...gives you a 80s feel...it kinda makes me think of Paris...

This is also how I see it and it makes the video even more sad:( But that was an amazing PV:yes

AyuGAME 10th December 2007 12:49 AM

i love the PV very much, i cried when i watch it...i don't know its really emotional for me
there is a lot of thing happened in my life these days, sometime i feel so lonely and no one care about me, like the puppet in this PV that being throw away.
there is a lot of work for me to do and its really hard days...i still cry while i'm typing this...i know, i over dramatic it, but i don't know its really touch my heart
but i know in the end of the scene, that there is still a hope there is still someone that care about you (in this case the taxi driver is care about ayu) ...thanks ayu for the wonderful PV for a great song...

time to cheer up again!!! GANBATTE MINNA-SAN!!!

lilchan 10th December 2007 12:51 AM

the part where she dropped..scared me a bit..XD..but other than that, I LOVED IT
I thought the puppets where cute..XD
I love puppets*thinks of alterna*

ohsixthirty 10th December 2007 01:04 AM

its an alright PV, but it reminds me so much of so many other PV's we've seen by her. i was hoping for something more different and unusual, like Ladies Night or something...
